The bride’s nephew, Carl Simon, carried the ring. After the ceremony an informal re ception was held and Mr. and Mrs. Cohen left for a wedding trip. They will be at home at 238 Broad street in Augusta. Miss Majorie Cerf who is visiting her cousin Miss Evelyn Wolf in Mont gomery, Ala., is being extensively en tertained. Mr. and Mrs. Wolf gave a dance in honor of Miss Cerf. Mrs. Henry Wellhouse is in New York at the Ogden Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Regenstein are in Boston entering their son, Louis, Jr., into college. Mrs. Hannah Stern, of Tampa, Fla., is visiting Mrs. Abe Greenfield. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Zachirias and daughter, Betty Jane, are on a visit to their parents in Toronto, Canada. Miss Esther Clein has returned from an extended visit to New York City and other interesting points East. Mrs. Irving Edison and little son were recent guests in the city. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lichtenstein annoimes the engagement of their daughter, Hazel Faye, to Simon S. Abeloff, of New York City. Mrs. Charles Lipman of New York City continues to be the much feted guest of her sister, Miss Eve Boss. Among the many social affairs being held in Mrs. Lipman’s honor was the delightful bridge-luncheon given by Miss Boss on the afternoon of Sep tember 21st. Those invited to share Miss Boss’s hospitality were: the Misses Sara Shuman, Perle Bokritzky, Helen Eplan, Sarah Freeman, Lena Shuman, Polly Gershon, Tut Esser- man, Gladys Shuman, Ida Clein, Esther Siegel; the Mesdames Sam Sil verman, Sol Meltzer, Joseph Levetan and Max Fagelson.
