MENKEN, honor ary secretary of the Union of Ortho dox Jewish Congregations of Amer ica, died recently after a prolonged illness in New York City. JAY FRANK SCHAMBERG. of Philadelphia, distinguished derma tologist, received the 1929 award 0 Phi Lambda Kappa, national Jewis; medical fraternity, for being American Jewish physician who maie the greatest individual contribution to the progress of medicine during t e past year.
