F. O. J. Club Entertains At
Annual Dinner Dance
The F. O. J. Club entertained its
members and friends at a beautiful
and elaborate dinner-dance at the
Tavern Tea Room, Thursday evening,
February 13th. A very novel can!
dance followed. Among the mem
bers and friends attending were
Jennie Klein, President of the
Club, Fannie Berchenko, Rose Green
berg, Mollie Klein, Rose Kalech-
man, Julia Goldberg, Fannie Siegel,
Anne Siegel, Mrs. I,eo Hirsch (for
merly Sara Gordon), Lillian Reisman,
Dora Fineroff, Joe Gershon. Willie
Kellman, Herman Waitzman, Jack
Sandler, Hyman Meltzer, Dave Butler,
Sam Finn, Harry Glassman and Leo
Hirsch. This was the annual affair of
the Club and was one of the outstand
ing social events of the season.
Mrs. Monte Casper of New York
City, ami her young son, Mark, are
the popular guests of their parents,
Mr. and Mrs. A. Hirsch. Mrs. Casper
will be remembered as the former
Miss Corinne Hirsch.
Mrs. Blanche R. Johnson of Cin
cinnati, is visiting her sisters, Mrs.
David Marx, Sr., and Mrs. J. E. Som-
merfield.
Mr. and Mrs. Simon Selig and
daughter, Dorothy, are spending a
few days in Florida.
Mrs. Sam Schoen has returned
from a stay in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Mrs. Ike Schoen is spending a few
weeks in Florida.
Mr. and Mrs. Jake Hirsch have re
turned from Baltimore, Md.
Mrs. Herman Rich of Birmingham,
Ala., spent a few days in the city
recently.
Mrs. Sigfried Guthman has return
ed from Montgomery, Ala., where she
was called by the death of her father,
Mr. Sam Kahn.
Mrs. Harry Gershon has returned
from California where she spent six
weeks.
Mrs. Archie Ginsberg and son, Dick,
have returned to Chicago after a de
lightful visit with Mr. and Mrs.
Adolph Montag.
Mrs. Sol Benjamin and Mrs. Edgar
Bodenheimer have returned from
Florida.
Mr. and Mrs. Alex Rosenfeld arc
spending a few weeks in Cuba.
Mrs. S. A. Visanska has returned
from Bristol, Term., after visiting her
daughter, Mrs. Joseph Sternberg.
Mrs. Ida Ferst of Baltimore, Md.,
is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin
Ferst.
Mrs. Mack Steinberg of Columbus,
Ga., is visiting Mrs. Morris Stern at
the Cox-Carlton Hotel.
Mrs. Ike Marks of Charleston, S.
C., was in the city for a few days.
Mr. Leo Weiss of Tampa, Fla., spent
a few dnys with his sisters. Misses
Sadie and Martha Weiss.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Montag have
returned from n trip to Savannah,
Ga.
Mr. Jack Hirsch of Chicago, who
has been the guest of Mr. and Mrs.
Oscar Strauss, has returned home.
Mr. Jake Dittler of Columbia, S. C.,
was in Atlanta for a few days.
Miss Ernestine Hirsch is visiting
her parents Mr. and Mrs. Harold
Hirsch on Waverly Way.
Mrs. Milton Cronheim is convales

after spending a few days in Albany,
Ga.
Mr. Charlie Franklin has recover
ed from his recent illness.
Miss Alline Fox who spent a week
with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Al
fred Fox, has returned to college to
resume her studies.
Mrs. Herbert Metzger and son,
Jack, arc in Miami, Fla.
Miss Katherine Kalman of Albany is
visiting Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hirsch.
