The Right Honorable SIR ISAAC ALFRED ISAACS, a member of the High Court of Australia, since 1906, was appointed chief justice of the High Court at Melbourne. Sir Isaacs was born in Melbourne in 1855, has had a brilliant legal and political ca reer dating from 1892. The late LOUIS TOPKIS, million aire philantrophist and prominent Zionist who died in Wilmington, left a bequest of $25,000 to the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
