hues were used in artistic arrangement
throughout the entire house.
In the dining room, the long table
covered with a hand-made cloth, had for
its central decoration a low bowl filled
with lavender iris, pink stock, and white
larkspur.
At either end was placed a beautifully
embossed birthday cake.
Mrs. Ben Meyers and Mrs. Gilbert
Rosenthal of Baltimore, were the
guests for a few days of their aunt,
Mrs. Aruthur Wiseberg. 1 hey were cn
route to Hollywood to attend the wed
ding of their brother, Ben Lyon of
movie fame, whose marriage to Bebc
Daniels will take place June 14th.
Mrs. Sig Pappenheimer is convales
cent from an operation at St. Joseph’s
Infirmary.
Mrs. L. Bodenheimer and daughter,
Mrs. L. Mayer, of Pensacola, Fla., have
returned home after being delightfully
entertained as the guest of relatives in
the city.
Mrs. Max Samuels is the guest of
her daughter, Mrs. Henry Harris in
Macon, Ga.
Mrs. Alex Dittler has returned from
Washington, D. C.
Mrs. Leopold J. Haas lias returned
from a stay of several weeks in Phil
adelphia. Penna.
Mrs. Phil Kohn of New York who
has been the much feted guest of Mrs.
Geo. Kohn, has returned home.
Mrs. Louis Kaufman of Montgom
ery, Ala., has returned home after a
month’s stay with her parents. Mr. and
Mrs. Abe Hotzman.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Rich have re
turned from their wedding trip and
are at home at the Biltmore Hotel.
Mr. and Mrs. Irving Goldberg of
Greenville, S. C.. were guests for a few
days at the Georgian Terrace.
Mrs. Fred Barnett of New York is
the guest of her mother. Mrs. B. Z.
Phillips.
Mr. and Mrs. Lewish Cohn of Fort
Smith, Ark., were the guests of Mr.
and Mrs. Rudolph Loeb.
Mrs. Rosa Ginsberger left for Mil
waukee to sepnd the summer with
relatives there.
Mrs. M. Stern of Birmingham was
the guest of her mother. Mrs. Arthur

Mr. and Mrs. Sol Kohn of Columbia,

The many friends of Mr. Albert
Selig regret to hear of his recent auto
mobile accident and wish for him a
very speedy recovery.
