Miss Ruth Groodzinsky, of Talla poosa, Ga., was the recent visitor of Miss Ethel Isenberg. ^ The Misses Pat Goldberg and Frances Carlin, and the Messrs. Jack Goldberg, Allen Marcus, Randolph Cummins, Edgar Strauss, Stanley Marienthal, Simon Selig, Herbert Rosenberg, Marcus Haas, and Jacob Haas were members of a group who motored to Montgomery recently. Misses Golda Heller and Shirly Cohn, of Cleveland, Ohio, spent a few days with Miss Bessie Geffen on their way home from a trip to California. Mrs. Louis Elsas, Miss Emily and Herbert Elsas are traveling abroad. Mr. and Mrs. I. A. Zion have re turned from an extended motor trip from Baltimore and Atlantic City. Messrs. Ira Weil, of Montgomery, Ala.; Harold Kaplan, of Leland, Miss., and Sam and Si Goldberg, of Besse mer City, N. C., are among those at tending the summer session at Geor gia Tech. Mr. and Mrs. Irving Flower and daughter, Shirley, of Birmingham, Ala., have returned home after a visit with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. Smullian. M. Ehrlich, of New York, is visit ing relatives in the city. Messrs. Macy Goldberg and Bennie Millender are spending a few weeks at Jacksonville Beach, Fla. Miss Carol Hess has returned home after spending a few weeks in Mo bile, Ala. Miss Gussie Miller, of Baltimore, Md., is the guest of her sister and brother, Mr. and Mrs. I. A. Zion. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Calm and son, of Pensacola, Fla., spent a few days in the city as the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Hirsch at their home on Lull- water Road. Miss Rose Oser, of 1074 North High land, has recovered from injuries sus tained by the wreck of her car as she was on her way to New York. Mrs. David Eichberg has returned home after a delightful stay in New York. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Rosenbaum and their mother, Mrs. L. Pazol, have re turned from a visit to Tybee Island. Mr. and Mrs. Edel Jankau spent a few days at Lookout Mountain re cently. Miss Bess Katz, of New Orleans, has returned home after a visit with Miss Bee Kulbersh. Messrs. Allen Marcus and Randolph Cummins are spending a few days in New York and Atlantic City. Mr. and Mrs. M. Stephen Schiffer are now making their home at the Hotel Georgian Terrace. Mr. and Mrs. H. Rosenberg and family have returned from a visit with relatives in Texas. Miss Gladys Hanover, of Birming ham. was a recent visitor of Miss Pat Goldberg. Mrs. Sam Cohen, of Florida, Ala., is the guest of her mother, Mrs. S. Srochi. Miss Frances Carlin is to return home this week after spending a few weeks in Atlantic City. Messrs. Nathan Lipshitz, Sam Zion, and Bill Wise have returned from a visit to Lakemont, Ga. Mr. and Mrs. Gus Hoffman are now making their home in Baltimore. Md. Mrs. Bertha Ginsberg is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Wender. Armand May has returned from a tour of the European countries lasting two months. Rabbi Joel S. Geffen, of Troy, N. Y., is visiting relatives in Atlanta and will be present at the wedding of his sis ter, Miss Lottie Geffen. Mrs. Sarah Strauss has returned from a pleasant stay in Savannah. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Wender enter tained their friends at their home on W ashington Street in honor of their son, Raymond, on his thirteenth birth day. Mrs. Herbert Simon and daughter, Clare, are guests of Mrs. Milton Cron- heim. The friends of Sam Smullian will be pleased to learn that he is recovering from a recent train accident. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Adler have re turned from a short stay at Tybee Island. Mrs. Joe Cohen and children, Fran ces and Billie, are visiting relatives in Miami, Fla. Mrs. Jake Bloch has recovered from her recent automobile accident. Bennie Goldstein, of Texas, is the guest of his sister, Mrs. S. Luttrell, on Ponce de Leon Avenue. Mrs. Morris Bernard has returned after a pleasant stay in New York City. Mrs. 1. Clein has returned home after a visit with her daughter, Belle, in New York City. Mr. and Mrs. Jake Hirsch and family are spending a few weeks in Maine. Miss Deby Levy, of Winter Haven, Fla., is the visitor of Rabbi and Mrs. Tobias Geffen. Mrs. Joseph Gershon and Joseph. Jr., spent a few days at Lookout Moun tain. Tenn., recently. Miss Mildred Baron of Chattanooga. Tenn., was the guest of Miss Mildred Tenenbaum during the recent Young Judaean Convention. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lowenstein spent a few weeks in New York City and Atlantic City recently. Miss Mary Lee Wender is recu perating at the Piedmont Hospital from an appendicitis operation. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Nussbaum, of Rainbridge. Ga., spent a few days in the city recently. An event of interest will he the marriage of Miss Helen Fine, of Chat tanooga, Tenn., to Sidney Goldstein, of Atlanta, on Sunday, August 17th. The wedding will take place at the home of the bride, and Rabbi Tobias Geffen will officiate. Harold Marcus has recovered from a recent operation. Miss Tillie Jacobs entertained her friends at a watermelon cutting at I die wood Wednesday, August 13th, in honor of her sixteenth birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Markowitz and daughters, of New York City, were guests of Mrs. J. J. Loeb and Miss Mabel Loeb. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Alexander have returned from a short stay in Asheville, North Carolina. Mrs. David Marx, Jr., is spending the summer in Chicago.
