DR. MAURICE HEXTER, Ameri
can member of the triumvirate in charge
of the Palestine Emergency Fund, for
which $2,000,000 was raised in this coun
try, sailed recently for Europe to attend
the meeting of the council of the Jewish
Agency which opened in Berlin. While
in this country, Dr. Hexter rendered a
report of the work of the Palestine
Emergency Fund, the current situation
in Palestine and the recent discussions of
the political committee of the Jewish
Agency recently held in London.

workers, recently received an invitation
from Dr. Lyman Wilbur, secretary of
the interior, who is chairman of the

GENERAL ERICH VON LUDEN-
DORFF, former commander-in-chief of
the Imperial German armies has filed
suit for divorce, blaming his wife, the
former Mathilda Kemnitz, for having
tricked him into agitating against the
Jews and Masons and for his adoption
of certain unorthodox religious practices.
The suit for divorce was brought by
General Ludenorff upon the advice of hi«
friends who made him realize that hi*
wife had foisted upon him her fantastic
theory that the Jews and Masons were
plotting against the lives of noted Ger
mans.
