Greetings
To the Jewish Community of Augusta, Ga.:
^7 ^E, THE undersigned, on the occasion of the Holiday Season, are
| fj J glad to exercise in this manner the privilege of extending to the
Jewish Community our greetings. 'This year has witnessed
the tearing down of some of the barriers that separated sections of the com
munity and prevented the harmonious planning for the great good of
American institutions. This year has heard the sturdy voices of men in
responsible positions of governmental authority, as well as of men in the fore
front of church leadership, and all these voices have urged the need for better
and deeper understanding for a new kind of tolerance that recognizes the great
good that each individual can contribute to the future America. And it is the
spirit of what has already been achieved that we look forward to the coming
of even greater manifestation of the spirit of brotherhood and understanding.
