Mrs. Seesil, of Chattanooga, Tenn., spent the week-end as the guest of her son, Mr. Harold Seesil. Mrs. Simon Gazan spent a few days in the city at the Biltmorc. Franklin and Mr. and Mrs. Sam Schoen have returned from Columbus, Ga., where they at tended the 75th birthday anniversary of their mother, Mrs. J. Hoflin. Mrs. Harry F'riedman, of New York, first president of the Atlanta Unit of Junior Hadassah, and member of Na tional Board of Junior Hadassah, ad dressed the Atlanta unit recently. The Coterie Club presented a play, “The Last Jew,” at the Jewish Pro gressive Club recently. Mrs. Mord G. Foote was director of the play, and was highly complimented for her coaching. The cast of players included Misses Ozna Tontak, Rosalie Hirsch, Sarah Glustrom, Messrs. Ned Cohen, Meyer Levy, Louis Berchanko, Simon Wender, Nace Cohen, Joe Blass, Oscar Fineroff, Melvin Weinman, Max Rittenbaum, and Edward R. Vajda, stage manager. Mrs. I. C. Smullyan entertained at her home on Morningside Drive in honor of her daughter, Miss Eleanor Idalin Smullyan, and Mr. Frank Cons- tangy, whose engagement was an nounced recently. The Szoldcan Club entertained its members and a few friends at a dance recently at the home of Miss Adele Rosenstein. A tea table was presided over hv Mrs. I. Rosenstein. An elaborate masquerade hall was en- joved April 21st by the members of the Mayflower Country Club, at the Bilt- tuore Hotel, this being the third affair held at its town quarters since the club was organized several months ago. Many delightful costumes were in evidence. Prizes were awarded to the most attractive and the most comical costumes. Miss Eleanor Snnillian, at tired as an Arabian dancer, was ad judged the most attractively costumed woman, while Mr. Jack D. 1 garbed as a Spanish don, wo man’s prize Mrs. Wilhemcna M kler, as a bowery girl, won the prize f most comical costume amom women, while Mr. M.
