visiting her brother, who is seriously
ill.
Mrs. Ida Arnheim has returned home
after a pleasant visit with Mr. and
Mrs. Henry Bauer.
Mrs. Sig Pappenheimer left for
Highland Park, Mich., to spend the
summer with her son and daughter,
Mr. and Mrs. Maier Finsteirwald.
Misses Dorothy and Sylvia Mendel,
who have attended the University of
Alabama, have returned home to spend
the summer with their parents.
A most enjoyable dance was given
by the Mosean Chib at the Forest Hill
Country Club on Wednesday evening,
May the 20th. - A large gathering
were the guests of the Moseans. De
lightful music was furnished by Neil
Montgomery.
Miss Billie Berman is going to Bos
ton to be a bridesmaid at the wedding
of Dr. and Mrs. Theodore Romanow,
which ceremony will be solemnized in
Boston, Mass.
Mr. Albert Selig has returned from
French Lick Springs.
Mrs. Katzenstein. of Baltimore, is the
guest of Mrs. B. Bukofzcr.
Mr. Henry Brodar. of Columbus, Ga.,
spent the week-end in the city.
Mrs. Bodenheimer and daughter,
Mrs. Meyer, of Pensacola, Fla., have
returned home after being delightfully
entertained as the guests of relatives
in the city.
Mr. and Mrs. Alex Rosenfeld spent
a week in Atlantic City and New York.
Miss Bee Rich, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Walter Rich, won the medal for
French at Girls’ High.
Mr. Harry Rosenthal has returned
from French Lick Springs.
Mr. B. F. Joel, who met with a slight
accident recently, is much improved.
Miss Babette Ferst was operated on
for appendicitis.

Boston.

kauer have returned from Raine, La.

Meyer Rubin, who met with a slight
accident recently, are much improved.
Mr. Louis Troustein, Jr., of New
York, is making Atlanta his future
home.

visiting relatives in New York.

Jr., are in Selma, Ala.
Mrs. B. Ehrlich was one of the dele
gates attending the T. P. A. Con
vention, held in Los Angeles, Cal.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kaufman left
for New York, from where they will
sail May 29th on the S. S. France for
Europe. Mr. and Mrs. Kaufman will
be numbered among the Americans at
tending the International Rotary con
vention, to be held in Vienna, Austria.

of a baby girl, born recently.
Deaths
Mr. David Goldwasser died recently
at his home, 636 Capitol Avenue, S.E.
He is survived by his wife; four sons,
Joe, Lebens, Harry, and Isadore Gold
wasser ; a daughter, Mrs. A. Brooks,
of Athens, Ga.; three brothers, Ben
Goldwasser, of Atlanta, and Meyer
and Eli Goldwasser, of Poland; and
three sisters, Mrs. Rebecca Kosover,
of New York, and Misses Marie and
Gertie Goldwasser, of Poland.
