Weddings
Miss Jane Rich Myers, of Savannah,
Ga., became the bride of Louis A. Mon
tag, of Atlanta, Ga., at a fashionable
ceremony solemnized at noon today
at the St. Regis hotel here. Dr. Na
than Krass read the marriage service
which was witnessed only by members
of the immediate families of the bride
and bridegroom.
Miss Hetty Myers, sister of the
bride, acted as maid of honor, and Mr.
Montag was attended by Leon Froh-
sin, of Atlanta, Ga., as best man.
Mr. and Mrs. Montag will spend
their honeymoon in New England and
Canada. Following their return after
July 1, they will reside in New York
city for an indefinite period.
Guests at the wedding included Mr.
and Mrs. Percy Myers, of Savannah,
Ga., parents of the bride; Mr. and
Mrs. Adolph Montag, of Atlanta, Ga.,
parents of the bridegroom; Miss Hetty
Myers, sister of the bride; Leon Froh-
sin, of Atlanta; Mr. and Mrs. Herman
Rosenheim, of New York; Edward
Montag, of Atlanta, and Mr. and Mrs.
Fred J. Davis.
The bride is a granddaughter of
Mi. and Mrs. Lee Roy Myers, promi
nent citizens of Savannah, Ga., and
°f Mr. and Mrs. M. Rich, beloved At
lantans.^ She recently graduated from
Smith College where she made a bril
liant, schlastic record. Mr. Montag is
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Mon
tag, of Atlanta, and he is a graduate
of the University of Pennsylvania.
Cordial interest centers in the an
nouncement of the wedding plans of
Miss Carol Ruth Moss and Dr. Aaron
Z. Oberdorfer, whose marriage will
he a beautiful event of Wednesday,
June 17th, at the Standard Club at
o’clock. Rabbi David Marx will
perform the ceremony in the presence
of a gathering of relatives and
friends.
The maid of honor will be Miss Mar
jorie Cert; Miss Elsie Brasch, of
Jacksonville, Fla., will be the brides
maid and little Miss Joyce Oberdorfer,
a cousin of the bridegroom, will be
the flower girl. Mr. Max N. Oberdor
fer, Jr., will be the best man and the
groomsman will be Mr. Donald Ober
dorfer.
Mrs. Pauline S. Katz and Miss Gene
Spitz have returned from a delightful
trip to New York and Richmond, Va.
Among the first of delightful af
fairs given in honor of Miss Dorothy
Selig and Mr. Lyons B. Joel whose
marriage occurs on June 25th, was the
buffet supper given by Mrs. Sam
Hirsch and Mrs. Louis Hirsch. Twen
ty-five friends of the popular couple
assembled at the home of Mrs. Sam
Hirsch in Druid Hills for a buffet sup
per. Cards were enjoyed later.
Miss Peggy Meyers of Savannah,
Ga. was the guest of Mr. and Mrs.
David Marx, Jr.
Mrs. Irving Goldstein left Sunday
June 14th for Gastonia, N. C., to at
tend the wedding of Miss Ethel Gold
berg to Clarence Ross of Miami, Fla.

the Georgian Terrace.
The many friends of Mrs. Morris
Nissenbaum will be glad to know that
she is recovering nicely after a recent
operation.
