Sternberger will be remembered as An

Hospital.

The eleventh annual conference of the
North Carolina Association of Jewish
Women was held in Raleigh, N. C., the
early part of this month. Meeting jointly
with its sister organization was the North
Carolina Association of Jewish Men. The
Women’s Association was organized in
1921 by the late Mrs. Sol Weil, of Golds
boro, and draws its membership from 77
communities in the state. Pioneer "or «
this association in 1924 led to the estab
lishment of a summer training school for
Sundav school teachers at Camp Osceola,
Hendersonville, now sponsored by the
Union of American Hebrew Congrega
