• Mr. Myron B. Ehrlich, of New Y'ork,

• Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hirsch have re
turned from Florida.
• Miss Ruth Feldman, Miss Mat Shapiro
and Mr. Julian Asher motored to Ashe
ville, N. C., recently, where they spent
several days as the guests of Mr. and
Mrs. James Nessel.
• Mrs. Louis Montag has returned from
a visit in Savannah, Ga.
• Mr. Max Weinberger, of Nashville,
Tenn., spent the week-end in the city re
cently to attend the Horse Show.
• Mrs. Abe Applebaum, of Tuscaloosa,
Ala., was honoree at a number of parties
during her visit in Atlanta.
• Mrs. Gordon Hiles spent several weeks
in Anniston, Ala., the guest of Mr. and
Mrs. Mortimer Stern.
• Mrs. M. Behrend, of Washington,
D. C., is the guest of her daughter, Mrs.
Alex Dittler.
• Mr. I. Chertok, formerly of Atlanta
and New York, who is going to make
her future home in Los Angeles, was the
guest of Mrs. Gus Berman.
• Miss Ida Goldstein has returned from
Tuscaloosa, Ala., where she visited her
sister, Jeanette, who attends the Uni
versity of Alabama.
• Mrs. Dorothy Harburger, of New
York City, has returned to her home
after a visit with her mother, Mrs. E.
Lichtenstein, and sister, Mrs. M. L.
Smolen.
• Mrs. Percy H. Myers, of Savannah,
Ga., who was a guest at the Georgian
Terrace Hotel, has returned home.
• Mrs. Louis Wellhouse, Mrs. Ely Myer,
and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Wellhouse, Jr.,
motored to Atlanta City recently.
• Miss Fannie Taffel entertained at a
bridge complimenting Miss Anne Siegel,
whose marriage to Harry Glassman was
a recent event. Mrs. Jake Butler also
honored Miss Siegel at a bridge-tea held
at her home.
• Miss Mickey Smith spent the week
end in Birmingham recently as the guest
of Mrs. S. Berman.
• Miss Frances Georgia Roth, of Miami,
Fla., who was the feted guest of Mr.
and Mrs. M. B. Esserman, of Park Boul
evard, Rome, Ga., has returned to her
home.
• Mr. and Mrs. Louis Cohen have re
turned from a trip to Albany, N. Y.,
where they visited Mr. Cohen s parents.
Miss Eva Tuck, sister of Mrs. Cohen,
who has been residing in New York
for some time, returned to Atlanta with
Mr. and Mrs. Cohen.
• Mrs. N. DeWald, of Savannah, is
visiting her daughter, Mrs. Clarence
Feibelman.
• Mr. and Mrs. Walter W. Visanska
motored to Baltimore to attend the grad
uating exercises at Goucher College,
where daughter, Miss Florette Visanska,
was one of the graduates.
• Mrs. C. Steiner, of St. Louis, is visit
ing her daughter, Mrs. Robert Schiffman,
of Huntsville, Ala.
• Mr. and Mrs. Irving Levine and
daughter, Aubrey, have returned to their
home in Passaic, N. J., after a delightful
visit with Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Steuer,
at their home on Morningside Drive. En
tertaining the visitors were Mrs. M. Fire
stone and Mrs. Perry Ginsberg with a
luncheon and theatre party; dinner and
bridge by Mrs. Joseph Lazear; Mrs. L.
Rosenberg and Mrs. Balser with a bridge
at Mrs. Rosenberg’s home on Parkway
Drive; Mrs. L. Kaufman and Mrs. P.
Myers with a party; Mrs. I. Friedman
with a dinner; Mrs. Herman Gross with
a luncheon at the Standard Club; Mrs.
S. Rubin with a party; Mrs. Florence
Massell with a luncheon and party; and
Mrs. Harry -Dwoskin with a luncheon.
•Mrs. Joe Fried, of Macon, Ga., has
returned home after a two weeks’ visit
with her cousins, Mr. and Mrs. I. Wind,
of Huntsville, Ala.
• Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Binlenheimer
have been heard from in Paris, follow
ing a trip through Ireland and England.
They have been joined by Miss Jeanne
Lissauer, Mrs. Bodenheimer’s sister.
•Miss Cecile Allen, of Birmingham, was
a recent guest of her aunt, Mrs. P.
Ginsburg.
• Mr. Armand May, accompanied by
Mr. Joseph Eichherg, sailed for Germany
and other parts of Europe for business
and pleasure.
• Mr. and Mrs. J. Saul and Mrs. Jenny
Kahn entertained at a dance at the Jew
ish Progressive Club for Mrs. Morris
Small, of Los Angeles, California, ami
introduced Miss Libby Saliman, of New
York City, the fiancee of Mr. Abe Saul.
• Mrs. Baron Asher entertained at the
Standard Club in honor of the seventh
birthday of her son, Baron Henry Asher.
About thirty guests were present. As
sisting Mrs. Asher were Miss Nettie
Asher and Miss Adelaide Baylis.
• Mrs. Irving Samuels was entertained
at a bridge by her former class
mate at Wesleyan, Mrs. Horace S.
Smith, Jr.
• Mrs. P. H. Phillips of Erie, Pa., who
was the guest of her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Armand Wyle, has returned to her
home.

Gridiron Club. Harry Steine, student in
the Georgia Law School, gave the anni-
versarian speech before the student body
representing Phi Kappa Literary Society.
Maurice Steinberg represented the fra
ternity in the Intramural Swimming meet,
taking first place in two events and tie-
ing for high point man of the meet. He
was recently selected to next year’s junior
staff of the Pandora, the university year
book.
Vanderbilt University
Alpha Gamma Chapter of Zeta Beta I an
entertained its members with a banquet
on Founder’s Day, followed by election of
officers for next year. Joe Abrahams, of
Huntsville, Ala., was elected nasi. Other
officers are Semore Samuels, of Nashville,
vice-nasi; Sidney Livingston, of Ruleville,
Miss., gisbar; Preston Bissinger, of Nash
ville, sofar; Jack Harris, of Nashville,
Pan-hellenic representative. Activities
among the members list Harold Schwartz,
past nasi, as captain of the tennis team,
also member of Phi Bet Kappa, Skull and
Bones, and Delta Phi Alpha; Bill Krugly
on the wrestling team; Semore Samuels
on the track team, breaking the mile rec
ord in a meet at the University of Florida,
and belonging to the Blue Pencil Club,
Artus Club, and Sophomore honor roll;
Joe Abrahams, wrestling team, also a
member of the Eta Sigma Phi and Soph
omore honor roll; Ed Reisman, also a
track man. In the intramural wrestling
matches, Alpha Gamma took second place.
