• The marriage of Miss Irene Gordon,
of High Point, N. C., daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Harry Gordon, to Mr. Milton
Steinberger, of Atlanta, was solemnized
at the B’nai B’rith Temple in High Point,
N. C. Rabbi E. B. Ershler officiated.
Among out-of-town guests were: Mr. and
Mrs. Harry Steinberger and Miss Ger
trude Wald, all of Atlanta; Miss Sara
Weinstein, of Raleigh; Miss Ray Jacob
son, of Norfolk, Va.; Miss Bessie Vatz,
of Kinston; Miss Flora Neustaedter, of
Charlotte; Mr. and Mrs. Louis Gordon,
of Statesville; Mr. and Mrs. Ferd Falk,
of Charlotte; Mrs. S. Moskowitz, of
Troy, and Mr. S. Leyton, of Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania.
• The marriage of Miss Pearl Mae
Hazelrig, of Decatur, to Mr. Harry L.
Sugarman, of Atlanta, was recently sol
emnized at the home of the bride.
• The wedding ceremony of Miss Jennie
Wilensky, of Augusta, to Mr. Julius
Tesky, of Winnipeg, Canada, was re
cently performed at the home of the
bride’s brother, Mr. Jack Wilensky, in
Augusta. Mr. and Mrs. Tesky will
make their home in Augusta after an ex
tended wedding trip to Canada.
• Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Kulbursh, of At
lanta, announce the marriage of their
daughter, Beatrice, to Mr. Emanuel
Breen, of Rocky Mount, N. C. The event
was solemnized in September at the home
of the bride.
• Social interest centers in the announce
ment of the marriage of Miss Lillian Laz
arus and M!r. B. Nathan, the ceremony
having taken place in Germany recently.
Miss Lazarus has frequently visited At
lanta, the guest of her uncle, Mr. Rudolph
Adler.
• The marriage of Miss Ester Kunnes,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Kunnes,
of Thomson, Ga., and Jack Isenberg, of
Atlanta, was solemnized recently at the
Jewish Temple, with Rabbi Marx of
ficiating. Mr. Isenberg and his bride
left for New York and upon their return
they will take possession of an apartment
on Tenth Street.

• Mr. and Mrs. Leon Kletzky, of 781
Washington Street, announce the birth of
a son, David Irwin. Mrs. Kletzky was
formerly Sylvia Hirsch.
• Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Stein announce the
birth of a baby boy, Stanley. Mrs. Stein
was formerly Miss Bessie Goodman.
* Mr. and Mrs. Isadore Heiman an
nounce the birth of a boy, Richard
Phillip.
* Mr. and Mrs. Donald Oberdorfer an
nounce the birth of a son whom they
named Eugene.
• Mr. and Mrs. A. Franklin announce
the birth of a daughter, September 10th
at Georgia Baptist Hospital. Mrs. Frank
lin was formerly Miss Ruth Boaz, daugh
ter of Dr. and Mrs. D. J. Boaz.
* Mr. and Mrs. Dave Schlesinger an
nounce the birth of a daughter. Mrs.
Schlesinger was formerly Miss Mollie
Rittenbaum, of Atlanta.

• The engagement of Miss Inez Roth-
child and Mr. Donald Brodar is an
nounced. Miss Rothchild has frequently
visited Miss Florette Visanski.
• Mr. and Mrs. Jack Weinstock an
nounce the engagement of their daughter,
Carolyn, to Mr. J. Kurt Holland.

• Dr. and Mrs. Marx spent two weeks
in New Orleans.

man are pleased to learn of his recovery
from his recent illness.
• Mrs. Morris Bernard, Miss Claire
Bernard and Mr. Morris Bernard mo
tored to Montgomery for the week-end.

few days at the Georgian Terrace.
• Mrs. E. Gibeon, who was the guest
of Mrs. William Bauer, returned to her
home in Savannah.

was awarded one of the major national
prizes in the $25,000 Smile Photograph
Contest.
• Mr. and Mrs. Walter Rich and daugh
ter, Bee Rich, have returned from New
York.
• Mrs. Ralph Rosenbaum spent a month
in Charleston, the guest of relatives.
• Misses Beatrice Rothchild, Rosalie

berg formed a congenial party motoring
to Miami recently.
• Mrs. Clinton Long spent a month as
the guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
