C., was the recent guest of Mrs. Weiner Byck. •Mrs. Josie Strauss sails on February 8th on the Leviathon for a six-months’ trip abroad. • Mrs. Morris Rich is spending the win ter in Miami. • Mr. Milton Dreyfus has returned to his home in New York after a brief visit with relatives in the city. • Mr. and Mrs. Julian Boehm have just left Atlanta for a trip to Florida. • Mrs. Joan Regenstein is in New York, where she went to attend the wedding of her daughter, Laura, to Mr. Milton Friedlander. • The annual dinner dance of the Beta Chapter of Delta Gamma Phi Sorority was held recently in the Georgian Ball room of the Atlanta Biltmore Hotel, at tended by Miss Vivian Katzoff, formerly of Atlanta, who now resides in Wilming ton, N. C; Misses Doris Clcin, Beatrice Kunsberg, Isabell Boaz, Polly Clein, Celia Clein, Mildred Lebo*. Bess Nis- senbautn, Mrr. A. H. Axelrod, Janice Clein, Clara Lindy, Dr. Max Berman, Dr. Fred Lebos, Dr. Lou Silver, Messrs. S. \1. Frankel, Harry Levy, Ray Harris, Jack Wengrow, Harry Axelrod, Irwin Werbin, Harry Clein, Marion Hornick. • I'hc pledges of Alpha Sigma Phi of the University of Georgia, entertained the members of the sorority at a formal dance at the Sterne Community house, in Athens, recently. Approximately seventy-five persons were present. Deco rations, consisting of balloons, confetti and paper hats carried out the sorority colors, rose and gold. An elimination dance was one of the features of the evening. The prize was awarded to Ruth Long, Atlanta, and Leon Kahn, Bain- bridge. Specialty number* were given by Charlotte Stein, Atlanta; Millie Wilen- ski, Savannah, and Harry Morton, New Haven, Conn. 'ITie dance was chaperoned by the patronesses of the sorority. • A scries of dances, sponsored by the A. Z. A. for the Southern district con clave, was climaxed by an affair at the Jewish Educational Alliance. Among cities that sent delegations to the conclave are: Miami, New Orleans, Birm ingham, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Charleston, Baltimore, Little Rock, Louis ville and Memphis. The Atlanta Chapter has been organized three years, during which time it has accomplished much to ward the five-fold program, including so cial service, cultural, religious, social and athletic activities. Officers of the Atlanta chapter are: Joe Blass, President; Raymond Hirsch, Vice- President; Arthur Gottesman, secretary; Bernard Mandel, Treasurer; Leonard Greenbaum, Sergcant-at-Arms; Meyer Levy, Assistant Sergeant-at-Arms; Mel vin Pazon, Chaplain, and Ed Gavron, Reporter. • Mr. K. Sunshine has returned from his trip to New York City with business friends. • Mrs. P. H. Phillips, of Erie, Penna., visited her parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Armand Wyle. • Dr. and Mrs. Abraham Shusterman, of Athens, Ga., were the dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Armand Wyle.
