the birth of their son, Leonard Wolfe.
He is the grandson of Mrs. L. W. Kauf
man, and also Rabbi and Mrs. S. Bor-
stcin, of York, Pa. Mrs. Borstein was
formerly Bessie Kaufman, daughter of
Mrs. L. W. Kaufman.
• Mr. and Mrs. Joe Shulrnan announce
the birth of a girl.
•Mr. and Mrs. Reginald Goldsmith, of
Atlanta, announce the birth of a son on
May 2Xth.

• Mr. and Mrs. Albert Roth announce
the engagement of their daughter, Bernice
Evelyn, to Daniel Lease, of Rome, Ga.,
the date of the marriage to be announced
later.
• Lovely Miss Mary Hirsch, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Asa Hirsch, whose en
gagement is announced to John Paul
Hermer, of New York City and Houston,
Texas, who is residing in Atlanta. Miss
Hirsch and Mr. Hermer will be mar
ried at a June ceremony, taking place at
the residence of the bride-elect’s brother
and sister, Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Green-
blatt, on Elkmont Drive.
• Mr. and Mrs. Charles Franklin spent
several days in Montgomery, the guests
of Mr. and Mrs. Julian Slager.
• Mrs. Armand Wyle has gone to Balti
more and New York for a short stay.
• Mrs. A. L. Firestone, of Rochester, N.
Y., is the guest of her mother at her
