a congenial party motoring to Charles
ton, S. C., for Labor Day.
• Dr. Samuel Sinkoe and Mr. Al. Zim
merman have returned home from a visit
to Jacksonville.
• Miss Bessie Cohen spent Labor Day
week-end in Chattanooga, Tenn.
• Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Spector have re
turned from their wedding trip and are
making their home in Atlanta. Mrs. Spec-
tor was formerly Miss Helen Lipshutz.
• The many friends of Mrs. H. A. Alex
ander will be pleased to learn that she
has recuperated from a recent operation.
• Miss Caroline Haas, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Herbert Haas, has returned to
New York City to resume her studies at
the New York School of Fine Arts.
• Miss Sunny Liebman, daughter of Mrs.
Helen Liebman, has returned to Auburn-
dale, Mass., where she will resume her
studies at Lassell College.
• Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hirsch and Mr.
Harold Hirsch, Jr., have returned from
a visit of several weeks in Maine from
where they went to Chicago to the Cen
tury of Progress Exposition en route to
Atlanta.
• Mrs. Morris Sommers and her daugh
ter, Miss Fanny Sommers, of New York
City, are the guests of Mrs. Sommers’
brother, Mr. Julius Cohen, at his home
on Virginia Avenue.
• Mrs. Josie Strauss has returned to her
home at the Winecoff Hotel after several
months of travel in Europe.
• The many friends of Mr. Heinz.
Markus will be pleased to learn that he
is recuperating at his home from a re
cent operation.
• Miss Hazel Samuels daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Arthur Samuels, is in Pitts
burgh, Pa., where she has spent the sum
mer with relatives. En route to Atlanta
Miss Samuels will spend two weeks in
Washington, D. C., as the guest of
friends.
• Miss Rosah Kline is in New York
City, where she has been visiting rela
tives for several weeks.
• Miss Ethel Stein and Mrs. Jack Stein
spent Labor Day in Nashville, Tenn.
• Miss Polly Levine has returned to her
home in Greensboro, N. C., after having
been delightfully entertained as the guest
of Miss Ida Blank.
• Mr. Charles Bergman has returned
from a visit of several weeks in New
York City and Chicago.
• Mr. Harry Moret has been in Chicago
to visit the Century of Progress Exposi
tion.
• Dr. Harry L. Cohen and Mr. Eph Ber
man have returned from a ten-day stay
in Miami.
• Mr. and Mrs. Victor Kriegshaber and
Miss Marian Kriegshaber were at home
informally at Camp Victor, compliment
ing their guests, Mrs. Dora Sonn, Mrs.
William V. Kingdon, Victor and William
Kingdon, Jr.
• Mrs. Milton Friedlander, of Forest
Hills, Long Island, has returned home
after visiting her mother, Mrs. Joan
Regenstein. Mrs. Friedlander was for

ing relatives in New York City.
