cuperating from a recent illness.

have returned from Atlantic City, N. J.
• Miss Pearl Rubin, of Montgomery,
Ala., was the recent guest of Miss Sarah
Steinberg.
• Mr. Adolph Rosenthal and Mr. Alan
Rosenthal, of Baltimore, Md., were guests
of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Rosenthal.
• Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Henry Cohen
were honored at a reception given by their
parents, Mr. and Mrs. I. H. Cohen, at
iheir home. The young couple have just
returned from their wedding journey to
make their home in Augusta. Mrs. Cohen
was formerly Miss Rhode Betty Green,
of Philadelphia, Pa.
• Miss Rosina Pearl, Miss Lois Levy and
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Cohen formed a
congenial group who motored to Savan
nah for Labor Day week-end.
• Mr. and Mrs. David Slusky have re
turned from Atlantic City, N. J.
• Mrs. Abbot Coburn and son, of Chica
go, have been the guests of Mrs. David
Ruhenstein.
• Mrs. Jake Schneider and daughter,
Dolores, have returned from Baltimore,
Md., where they visited Mr. and Mrs.
Nat Fineman.
• Mr. Maurice Steinberg, Mr. Harold
Tannenbaum and Mr. Max Tannenhaum
formed a congenial group, motoring to
the World’s Fair in Chicago and return
ing home via Canada, Niagara Falls
and New York.
• Miss Lillian Pearlstine, Miss Frances
Pearlstine and Miss Beatrice Hoffman
have returned from a visit to Savannah
Beach, Ga.
•Mr. and Mrs. Myron Tannenbaum cel
ebrated their twenty-fifth wedding anni
versary, September 10, with an informal
reception at their home where relatives
and their host of friends called during
the evening to extend their congratula
tions to the popular couple. Among the
out-of-town guests were Mrs. S. B.
Hurowitz, of Atlanta; Mrs. Charles
Kolodkin, of Dalton, Ga.; Mr. Mose
Sacks, of Chattanooga, Tenn.; Mr. and
Mrs. J. L. Tannenbaum, of Atlanta.
• Mr. and Mrs. Sammy Simowitz and
Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Fratn motored to
Union, S. C., for the Hyman-Fram wed
ding.
• l'he Misses Thelma Levy, Rose Cohen,
Ida and Ray Fogel have returned from
a tour to the World’s Fair in Chicago.
• Mrs. Mose Fogel and Mrs. Sammy
Simowitz have returned from a recent
motor trip to Atlanta.
• Mr. Abe Friedman and Mrs. Max Ru-
benstein motored to Savannah Beach,
where they spent the Labor Day week
end.
• Mr. and Mrs. A. Serotta and their
son, Mr. George Serotta, spent a few
days at Savannah Beach recently.
• Mr. and Mrs. Harry Shapiro have re
turned from their wedding trip to
Chicago and points West and they are
now at home to their friends on Glenn
Avenue.
• Mrs. Henry N. Bonchek has been in
Savannah, Ga., visiting relatives, while
Rabbi Bonchek was in Cleveland, Ohio.
• Mr. Meyer Schneider motored with a
congenial group of friends to the World’s
Fair in Chicago.
• Mr. and Mrs. Harry I. Davis spent
several days at Tate Mountain Estates.
