Bigler and Mrs. Max Kuttner, were injured. • The many friends of Mr. Maxwell Pintchuck will he pleased to learn that he has fully recuperated from a recent operation. • Mrs. Harry Gershon has returned from Chattanooga, Tenn., where she was called upon the death of her uncle, Mr. Harry Simpson. • Mr. and Mrs. Walter Visanska were in Columbus, Ga., where they attended the first wedding anniversary celebration of their son and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Rothschild. • Mrs. Eugene Elsas and daughter, Claire, of Milwaukee, Wis., and Miss Aline Elsas, of New Orleans, La., have been the guests of Mrs. Ben Phillips. • Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Elsas, of New York, have been visiting their mother, Mrs. Louis Elsas, at her home on Oak dale Road. • Miss Rita Glick, of Columbus, Ohio, was the recent guest of Miss Marie Rice. • Miss Lala Lillienthal returned from New York to spend the holiday season with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Lillienthal. • Mr. Nathan Wolfe, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Wolfe, Sr., of Atlanta, was accorded highest scholastic honors at the School of Commerce, University of (Georgia, in Athens, Ga. •Mr. and Mrs. Al. Toranto, of Mobile, Ala., are now making their home in Bir mingham, Ala. • Mrs. C. A. Kahn and Miss Esther Hagerdorn, of Montgomery, attended a meeting of the Women’s Business Club at Warm Springs, Ga. •Mr. Julian Kahn, student at the Uni versity of Alabama, spent some time with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Kahn, of Montgomery. • Mrs. Victor Loeb, of Montgomery, en tertained at a dinner party in honor of her daughter, Miss Frances Loeb, and col lege friends of Miss Loeb. • Mrs. Max Epstein, Miss Mildred Ep stein and Phil Epstein, of Atlanta, and Mrs. Sarah Lazear, of New Rochelle, N. Y., are spending the holiday season in Miami Beach, Fla. • The Misses Vivian and Helen Katzoff, of Wilmington, N. C., formerly of At lanta, entertained at their home honoring Miss Rose Kosch, whose wedding to Mr. Joseph Siegel, of New York, will take place shortly. Miss Kosch was presented with a lovely gift, and Mrs. Benjamin Schwartz received high score prize. • The Augusta Section of the National Council of Jewish Women entertained in honor of Mrs. Mary E. Schonberg during her visit to Augusta at which time Mrs. Schonberg was guest speaker at the meet ing of the council. Among those showing special courtesies to Mrs. Schonberg were Mrs. Adrian Cohen, president of the Au gusta Section; Mrs. Sam Goldberg, and Mrs. Abram Levy. • Mrs. Harry May is in C'alifornia, where she is visiting relatives. • Mrs. Mose Strauss spent a few days in Montgomery recently as the guest of relatives. • Mr. and Mrs. Mendel Zaban, Mrs. Harry Zaban and Miss Lillian Zaban mo tored to New York recently. En route home, Mrs. Harry Zaban spent a few days in Greensboro, N. E. • Mrs. George Cowen, of New York, has been the guest of her son and daugh ter, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Haas. • Miss Bessie Goldstein is visiting friends and relatives in Columbus, Ohio, and Detroit, Mich. • Mrs. E. Cohen and Mrs. Ben Cohen have returned to the Georgian Terrace Hotel after spending several months in New York City. • Mr. and Mrs. Simon S. Sclig have re turned from New York City, where they were guests at the Waldorf-Astoria Ho tel. • Mr. and Mrs. David Marx, Jr., have returned from a motor trip through Flor ida. • Mr. and Mrs. Charles Franklin have returned from New York City, where they visited their son and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Oppenheimer. • Mr. and Mrs. Jake Abelson entertained at an anniversary- dinner at their home.
