Atlanta after spending the past few
months in Florida.
• Mrs. Charlotte Desburg, of Cleveland,
Ohio, was the recent guest of Mr. and
Mrs. Massell.
• Mrs. Ben Bashinski and young daugh
ter, Anne, of Macon, Ga., spent some
time in the city recently as the guests of
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Herzog.
• Mrs. Eugene Oberdorfer, Sr., is spend
ing several weeks in Jacksonville, Fla.
• Mr. Mike Mohr, of Montgomery, Ala.,
was the recent guest of his brother and
sister, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Mohr.
• Mrs. Sigmund Pappenheimer has re
turned to her home at the Georgian Ter
race Hotel.
• Miss Fannie Goodrich has returned to
Savannah, Ga., after visiting Miss Polly
Gershon.
• Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Mohr and young
son, Julian Boehm Mohr, spent several
days in Montgomery, Ala., visiting rela
tives.
• The many friends of Mrs. Lee Straus-
burger will be pleased to learn that she
has recuperated from a recent operation.
• Mr. and Mrs. Nathan DeWald, of Sa
vannah, (la.; Mrs. Herbert Schiff, of
Mobile, Ala., and Mrs. Alva Herzog, of
Columbia, S. ('., were the recent guests
of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Fiebleman.
While in Atlanta, Mr. and Mrs. DeWald
were honored upon the celebration of
their fortieth wedding anniversary.
• Miss Charlotta Freiberg, daughter of
Attorney and Mrs. Leonard H. Freiberg,
of Cincinnati, has been the guest of Mr.
and Mrs. Baron Asher at their home on
Forrest Road. Miss Freiberg, who is the
granddaughter of Mr. Bernard Freiberg
and the late Alice Weihl Freiberg, is a
student at the University of Cincinnati.
• Miss Kate Tanenbaum, of Augusta,
was the recent guest of Mr. and Mrs.
M. Tanenbaum, in Warrenton, Ga.
• Mrs. Sam Rosen, of Savannah, was
the recent guest of Mrs. J. Sawilowsky,
of Augusta.
• Mrs. Harry Shapiro, of Augusta, is
visiting relatives in Philadelphia, Pa.
• Mrs. Louis Berns and family, of Nash
ville, Tenn., have been the guests of Mrs.
Morris Berns in Augusta.
• Mrs. Ben Cohen and son, of Augusta,
have been visiting relatives in New York
City.
• Mrs. S. Steinberg, of Augusta, was the
recent guest of relatives in Atlanta.
• The many friends of Mrs. Jake Schra-
meck, of Augusta, will be pleased to learn
that she has fully recuperated from a re
cent illness.
• The Wednesday Bridge Club of Au
gusta entertained at a formal dinner
dance. The hostesses for the occasion
were Mesdames D. M. Levy, Philip
Daitch, Hill Silver, Lou Ehrlich. Harry
Wilensky, Newman Tanenbaum, Jos.
Berns, Anne Blum, Julius Bogoslov.
Guests for the evening included Mr. and
Mrs. Sam Levy, Mr. and Mrs. Nathan
Levine, Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Funk, Mr.
and Mrs. Herman Schmerling, Mr. and
Mrs. Harry Shapiro, Mr. and Mrs. Abe
Fogel, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Wilensky,
