brated their silver anniversary
with a two-week trip to New York,
sailing from Savannah.
—Mrs. Herbert Traub and sons,
Herbert, Jr. and Stephen, have re
turned to their home in Savannah,
Ga., after a visit to Mrs. Traub’s
mother, Mrs. A. Lillienthal.
—Mr. and Mrs. Simon Selig have
returned from Atlantic City.
—Miss Edith Merlin is in New
York, where she will attend Colum
bia University.
—Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hirsch, who
spent the summer in Summit, Me.,
have returned home.
—Miss Evelyn Weinkle, who re
ceived membership in Cum Laude
and a scholarship for her high
scholastic record upon her gradua
tion at Girls’ High School last June,
entered Agnes Scott College this
week.
Mrs. M. Rich has returned to the
city, after spending the summer in
Atlantic City.
—Miss Esther Siegel spent last
week-end visiting friends and rela
tives in Birmingham, Ala.
—Friends of Miss Florence Rice
will be glad to learn that she is re
cuperating rapidly from a recent
operation.
—Sonny Goldstein, of Milledgeville,
Ga., has entered West Point Acad
emy.
—Mrs. B. Z. Philips has returned
to the city, after spending the sum
mer in Europe.
—Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Sisselman,
of Jacksonville, Fla., spent the past
week-end in the city as the guest
of relatives.
—Mrs. Dewald Cohen is visiting
her mother, Mrs. J. Leinkauf, in
California.
—Morris Capouya and Morris Cap-
ilouto are continuing their studies
at the Southern Dental College.
—Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hermer and
Mrs. Charles Franklin motored to
Columbus, Ga. last week-end.
—Miss Ida Glustrom is enjoying
two-week stay in New York.
