week-end in Savannah, Ga. as the
guests of Dr. and Mrs. Everett Ise-

Constitution which contains pho-
tostatic reproductions of the Dec
laration of Independence and the
Constitution oi the United States
was unveiled Thursday, January
6th, at the Davison-Paxon Com- I
pany.
This replica was brought to At
lanta by the Davison-Paxon Com
pany cooperating with the Ses-
quicentennial Commission of the
Un^ed States. It has been made
ava:lable to the public on the
Fifth Floor of Davison’s, and all
persons are cordially invited to
visit it and inspect the two docu
ments upon which the government
of cur country is founded.
At the ceremonies yesterday, W.
W. Brewton, State Director of the
Sesquicentennial Commission acted
as master of ceremonies, introduc
ing Judge Samuel Sibley of the
Circuit Court who unveiled the
Shrine as two United States
army buglers from the 22nd in
fantry sounded attention. The
Emory University Glee Club sang
“America,” after which Judge Sib
ley delivered the dedication ad
dress. Mr. Brewton then intro
duced former Governor John M.
Slaton, who spoke briefly on the
“Significance of the Constitution."

Bruno Frank Book
To Be Reviewed
Bruno Frank’s novel of Ger
man nobility’s downfall under the
Third Reich, “Lost Heritage” will
be reviewed by Dr. Samuel Sand-
mel before the Book Review Group
at the Temple on Tuesday evening,
January 11, at 8 o’clock. The
meeting will take place in Dr.
Sandmel’s study.
“Lost Heritage” was recently
published by Viking Press and has
met with wide critical acclaim.
The author, Bruno Frank is now
living in exile.
The initial meeting of the Book
Review Group was held last Tues
day, with “The Education of Hy
man Kaplan” as the discussion
book. The public is invited to
attend the weekly meetings.
