Sisterhood Plans
Annual Luncheon
Plans for ;m annual luncheon
were completed at a recent board
meeting of the Sheaiith Israel Si -
terhood. The affair will be held
this year on Tuesday. May 24th,
1:00 P. M., at the Jewish Progres
sive Club.
A large assortment of door pr zes
will bo awarded during the alter■-
noon and a variety of entertain
ment is being assembled. Arrange
ments will be made for members
and guests who wish to play cards.
A feature of the luncheon will
be the formal installation of new
officers; for the com.ng year. The
luncheon committee is composed
of some of the outstanding Sister
hood members, and advance re
ports on ticket sales indicate that
a record-breaking gathering will
attend. Members and friends are
asked to purchase tickets in ad
vance.
Further details of the affair will
be discussed at the regular meet
ing of the Sisterhood on Monday
afternoon, 3 o'clock, at the Shear
ith Israel Synagogue.
Monument Unveiling
A monument to the memory of
the late, beloved Atlanta woman,
Mrs. Helena Port, will be unveiled
on Sunday afternoon, 2:30 o’clock,
at Greenwood Cemetery.

Members of the Temple Study
| Group were hosts to Dr. David
Marx and Dr. Samuel Sandmel
at a luncheon on Wednesday morn
ing at Temple House. The honor
guests have conducted the weekly
classes of the Temple Study Group
throughout the Winter months.
Fifteen members of the class
I attended the luncheon, which
marked the close of Temple Study
Group series for the season.
