“I Am Different”
Tallulah Bankhead, one of the
most popular young actresses on
the American stage, will appear in
her latest comedy, “I Am Differ
ent” at the Erlanger Theatre Tues
day and Wednesday, with a mati
nee on Wednesday.
“I Am Different” by Zoe Akins,
is based upon a continental success
by Lili Hatvany. The play centers
round an attractive young woman
who has won fame in a metropoli
tan city as author of books on sex
and for her advice to the women
who seek her counsel.
Miss Bankhead’s part in “I Am
Different” is tailormade for the
display of all her talents in ex
pressing feminine moods. With
her, for the first time in Atlanta,
appears her husband, John Emery.
In the cast is also that queen of
musical triumphs, Fritizi Scheff,
Glen Anders, known to Atlanta
playgoers for his successes with
the Theatre Guild.
