week end encampment of Young
Judea leaders at Camp Daniel
Morgan Saturday and Sunday.
The camp at Rutledge, Ga., will

ish Educational Alliance Softball
League Sunday, May 4, at 8 a. m.
NBC in the second game of the
double-header program.
Tere are six teams entered in
the league: ABC, SOZ, DSI, JTC,
AZA 134 and AZA 357. AZA 134,
1940 champions, will start their
season on May 25.
This year a governing Board has
been set up to settle all problems
of league play. The following are j

scheduled to be given on Tuesday,
May 27, at the Jewish Educational
| Alliance, at the recent regular
meeting of the Sisterhood, pre
sided by Mrs. M. D. Horowitz,
second vice president.
This is the eighth yearly Shear
ith Israel spring luncheon. This
event is known to hundreds of At
lanta Jewish women who have
been attending this affair, as it
offers an interesting and inspira
tional program as well as a deli-
I cious meal.
Mrs. M. Taffel is general chair
man and Mrs. M. D. Horowitz co-
I chairman. Mrs Sidney Zimmer-
I man is ticket chairman. There
will be further announcements as
to the program and other arrange
meats. All efforts will be made by
the committee to make this years
luncheon .the outstanding of the
past in the food and entertain
