Madam Chiang Kai-Shek has applied this concept to China. Various Chris tian denominations are equally awak ening to it. \\ hat may be the effect of the ten dency towards cultural pluralism or liberal nationalism on Jewish life throughout the world? Beginning with the nineteenth cen tury. Jewish nationalism, hitherto pri marily religious, acquired several new forms in addition to retaining its re ligious phase.
