VVAlnut 4006 NEW DEADLINE FOR PUBLICITY Attention all organizational presidents and publicity chair men! To facilitate certain production difficulties, the deadline for or ganizational material in The Sou thern Israelite has been moved up to Tuesday night. This means material must be on the editor's desk at 9:00 a m. Wednesday at the latest, which takes into consideration arrival of the Tuesday afternoon mail. One factor in this deadline change is the general misinter pretation of a deadline. A dead line is the last moment for receiv ing ANY material: "it is not the moment when material is desired or when it should arrive. Since publicity is planned w'eeks in advance, cooperative chairmen will use a dealine only as an emer gency, turning in material as early as the previous weekend, on Monday or early Tuesday. Early copy should permit avoid ing pressure on the printer, which it is hoped will eliminate some of the typographical errors attribut able to receipt of an avalanche of material right on the deadline.
