A NNO UNCING
My First Price Reduction for 1948
Also my method and policy
of operating my buxines*
To those who have been wanting and needing a car
for a long time but have delayed or postponed buy
ing on account of high prices.
1 find it necessary at this time to reduce prices from
$50 to $170 per car.
MY LOSS IS YOUR GAIN
The reason for reduction is that at this time of the year I
am able to purchase cars and trucks for much less. It hap
pens frequently that 1 have to sell Tor less than cost, but I
do this willingly in order to give you the advantage of any
downward trend in prices.
All through the government controls and
regulations, / am proud to he able to say
that I met them
My prices were posted on ail cars as requived, and every
one could know what I sold ray cars for. I still post my
prices on every car and truck so you may compare them
with others.
All cars and trucks are sold on my regular guar
antee, regardless of price, as I am In business to
make friends. I have been ip the used car business
for a number of years and hope to continue. I am
sole owner of my business, and therefore I do not
have to be dictated to by any bank, loan agency,
or automobile association, although I have the high
est regard for each of them.
1 am making this statement only that you may know just
how my business is operated. „Your past business is highly
appreciated and I assure you that careful consideration will
always be given to your needs in the future.
