program are the program com
mittee, serving for its second year. ,
Mrs. Paul Baron is chairman. She
is being assisted by Mrs. E. I. Fox,
Mrs. Benjamin Stegall, Mrs. Sol
Klotz and Mrs. Jerome Levy.
An extra-seasonal meeting will
take place the evening of Sept. 15,
when the auxiliary will join Gate
City Lodge to hear Dr. A. L. Sa-
char, president of Brandeis Uni
versity.

ferent aspects of Atlanta. Dean
E. H. Rece of Emory University
will be moderator. Dean Raimundo
D. Ovies, columnist, Evelyn Han
na Sommerville, Medora Perker-
son and Dr. Alfred Weinstein, all
popular authors, are to appear on
the panel.
Lamar Dodd, outstanding South
ern artist in charge of the Art
Department at the University of
Georgia, will discuss “Art in
Your Community’’ at the Nov. 14
meeting.
Dec. 12 will be devoted to a tea
for new members.
Rabbi Jacob Rothschild and the
Rev. Harrison McMain will con
sider “Religion in Our Town” on
Jan. 9.
Other programs for the season
are:
Feb. 13—Spellman University
Glee Club, “Brotherhood in Our
Town.”
March 13—Dorris Lockerman,
Atlanta Constitution associate ed
itor, and Charles Jagels of
Davison-Paxon's, "Problems of
Our Town.”
April 10—Mrs. Benjanyn Ste

Dramatic production.
May 8—Installation of new of
ficers.

Meets at Jax
The southern Region of Junior
Hadassah will hold its annual
conference in Jacksonville Sept.
3rd and 4th.
Miss Dora Greenberg, national
Board member, will be on hand
for the meetings.
Representing the Atlanta Junior
Hadassah unit will be Fay Merlin,
Natalie Levison and Miriam Se-
ligman. Alternates are Rena
Steinberg and Lea Freidenthal.
