In the tradition of our Jewish
forefathers, the beginning of a
new year is a time for introspec

served us well in the synagogue
and in life; In our relationships
to others and in our personal
lives.

demonstration of those ideals
which have been our tradition for

must become primarily dedicated.
Beginning with this premise, I
believe that if American Jews

a message for this sorely troubled
world and that message must be
epressed in contemporary terms.
How can we make that contri

bigotry, and promoting equal
