business associates, urging them
to contribute to the United Jew
ish Appeal.
Fred B. Keuthan, President of
the Sargent-Gerke Co. of Indian
apolis. paint and varnish manu
facturers, writes: ‘‘Let’s show our
Jewish friends that we also are
willing to help. Let’s do our part
to atone for the grievous wrongs
their people have suffered.
‘‘What you give is your affair,”
Mr., Keuthan tells his correspon
dents. "If you want to be able to
live with yourself.make it enough.

... because Israel bids him come while the land of his birth disowns his fait!
THEY GO TOGETHER ... this land of hope and the young girl from
Morocco ... because Israel bids her come while the land of her birth bids her out,
THEY GO TOGETHER ... Israel and the homeless ... because they
build for each otherg-a land of hope and progress giving a new life and a
better future to its immigrants.
ALL THIS GOES TOGETHER ... but whether it can be depends
on the support you give to your community campaign on behalf of the
United Jewish Appeal.
ALL TOGETHER, these are the tremendous tasks confronting the
United Jewish Appeal in 1950 ... tasks that we must meet now, today, in
providing for the transfer to Israel of 150,000 homeless Jews ... in building
thousands of new homes ... in establishing 125 new farm settlements . . .
in emptying the immigrant camps of the 94,000 newcomers who still live in tents
and barracks. ^ .
