Nathaniel Greenblatt, son of
Dr. and Mrs. Robert Greenblatt
of Bransford Road, Augusta, was
one of seven students from Av
on, Conn., who were recently
greeted by United Nations dele-
gats from the Netherlands and
Turkey at the Now UN building
in New York.
The New York meeting was
arranged to prepare the students
for their role as delegates to the
model United Nations General
Assembly sponsored by the For
eign Policy Association of Hart
ford on April 22. Of the 31 na
tions to be represented at the
Assembly, Avon Old Farms will
speak for the Netherlands and
Turkey.

Guest speaker at the recent
meeting of the Augusta chapter
of Hadassah was Mrs. Jack Kes-
selman, New York City, of the
National Spdakeif’.s Bureau of
Hadassah.
Mrs. Jack Fink is president of
the Augusta Chapter, and Mrs.
Perry Smolen is first vice presi
dent.
Chattanooga
The Chattanooga Jewish Com
munity Center adult activities
committee announces plans for
the first annual “Matzo Ball’’ to
be held Saturday, April 12.

A children’s panel discussion
on “how to raise parents” will
be given Sunday, April 6, under
the joint sponsorship of the Com
munity Center and the Work
men’s Circle. Moderator will be
Miss Felice Melker, clinical psy
chologist with the Chattanooga-
Hamilton County Guidance Clin
ic, and participants will be Jay
Menuskin, J. D. Viness, Kippy
Borisky, Judy Shavin, Helen
Tyber and Barbara Rosenberg.
“Out of the Frying,” by Fran
cis Swann, a comedy in three
acts, has been selected as the
first production of the Center
drama group. A Margolin is ser
ving as director and Art Green
berg as technical director.
