Miss Kaylene Karesh, daughter

Julian Schoenberg, son of L.
Schoenberg and the late Mrs. L.
Schoenberg, of Beaufort, S. C., on
March 15 in Charleston.
Reiner-Klein
Mr. and Mrs. Harry N. Reiner
of Savannah announce the en
gagement of their daughter, Joan
Marsha, to Harold Klein of Rus
sellville, Ky.
Miss Reiner is a graduate of the
Savannah High School. She at
tended Armstrong College and is
now attending the Vanderbilt Uni
versity.
Mr. Klein is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Nathan Klein of Russellville.
He is a graduate of the Russell
ville High School and will grad
uated from the Vanderbilt Univer
sity in Nashville, Tenn., in June.
He is president of the Alpha Ep-
to enter the University of Louis-fraternity. He is connected with
ville Dental School in September.
The wedding Is being planned

Capelouto of Tallahassee.
Miss Suzanne Franco is em
ployed by Dr. James L. Jennings
in Atlanta. She is a past sweet
heart of the Alpha Epsilon Pi fra
ternity at Georgia Tech. Both she
and her sister are graduates of
Henry Grady High School. Miss
Rachel Franco is employed by Ful
ton Supply Co.
Mr. Freeman is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Sam P. Freeman of At
lanta. He was graduated from

Mr. Capelouto is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Gabriel Capelouto of
Tallahassee. He is a graduate of
the University of Florida and is
now connected with Orkin Exter
minating Co., Tallahassee.
Miss Rachel Franco and Mr.
Capelouto will be married on
May 28.
Goldburg-Ackerman
Rabbi and Mrs. Norman M.
Goldburg announce the engage
ment of their daughter, Sally Ann,
to Lieut. Leonard Ackerman of
Asbury Park, N. J.
The bride-elect is at present a
student at Tufts in Boston, Mass.,
in the Boston School of Occupa
tional Therapy. She is in her jun
ior year, having completed her
premilinary studies at Northwest
ern and the University of Cincin
nati, Ohio.
Lieutenant Ackerman was form
erly stationed at Camp Gordon
with the Signal Corps. He Is leav
ing for an overseas assignment
with the Far Eastern Command.
Upon his return, in December or
January the wedding will take
place in Augusta, according to pre-

with her studies in Boston.

Miss Teresa Klein became the
bride of Sherman Fabes of Tulsa,
Okla., at a ceremony performed
March 8 at the Ahavath Achim
Educational Center.
Rabbi Harry Epstein, Cantor
Joseph Schwartzman and Rev. P.
S. Clein officiated.
Best man was Eugene Fabes,
Kansas City. Groomsmen includ
ed Herbert Schiff, Kansas City;
David Schneider of Knoxville,
Jack Storch and Paul Klein of
Atlanta. Ushers were Ike Cohen
of New York and Adolph Rosen
berg of Atlanta.
Miss Marilyn Bloom of New
York was maid of honor. Mrs.
Norman Fabes, Kansas City, was
matron of honor. Bridesmaids
were Miss Marvene Kingston of
Atlanta, Sandy Katz of Universi
ty of Ala., Tuscaloosa, and Miss
Rita Brickman of Chattanooga.
Miss Barbara Schecter was flower
girl.
The bride’s parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Louis Klein, entertained af
terwards at a reception. Mrs. Sch
neider kept the bride’s book for
her sister.
After a honeymoon in Florida,
the couple will reside in Tulsa.
The groom is the son of Mf. and
Mrs. Sam Fabes of Kansas City.
