Form Brotherhood
Congregation Beth Jacob has
formed a Brotherhood, with Mar
vin Slotin as president.
The group was formed on Mar.
11 at a meeting called by Rabbi
Emanuel Feldman.
Ideals of the Brotherhood are
“fratemalism, social and cultural
activities and the furtherance of
the religious traditional principles
of the Synagogue.”
Elected to serve with Mr. Slotin
are Saul Kaufman as vice presi
dent, Herman Bech, as secretary
and Jack Goldberg as treasurer.
A welcome has been extended
to all members of the Congrega
tion to join with the pioneers of
this organization, as well as 'to
non-members who wish to Join.
Meetings have been scheduled for
the second Wednesday of each
month.

Augusta A.Z A. Chapter 192 is
conducting a drive for collecting
medical drugs and supplies for
Israel. ,
included Mr. and Mrs. Max Bogo
and son Jerry, Mr. and Mrs. Perry
Smolen, Victor Smolen, and Mrs.
Dora Smolen. Mrs. Wolfe Beson
and Miss Elaine Halpem, both of
New York City, were also present.

New York City where she visited
her daughter, Mrs. David Fuchs,

Passover Seder
“Ma nishtanah halailah hazeh

different from all other nights?”
This symbolic question which
has featured Passover since the
holiday was ushered in will ring
out Sunday, March 29, during the
observance of Pessach at the
Shearith Israel Sunday School.
The day has been set aside as a
day of instruction and observance
of Passover, with emphasis on the
ritual of conducting a Sexier. j
At 10:25 a.m., Rabbi Arnold
Helsler will conduct a brief Seder
for Nursery, Kindergarten and
Primary grades. At 11 a.m., stu
dents of the Hebrew School will
conduct a model Seder.
Stanley Tenebaum will preside
at the Seder Table, set exactly as
it would be in the home of an
Orthodox Jew. Assisting him,

rim Ball Wednesday, March 29,
at the Skyroom of the Municipal
Auditorium.
From 8 p. m. to midnight, a pro
gram of music by Sammy Feld
man’s Orchestra, floorshow and
dancing has been arranged. Fred

ceremonies.
A silver lazy susan and a mix-
master will be given as door
prizes.
