Dr. Nussbaum to Address
Men’s Division Dinner Meet

of Temple Israel of Hollywood,
will be the guest speaker at a din
ner meeting of Advance Gifts
Group 2 of the Men’s Division, to
be held, at the Progressive Club,
Monday, ApriPT3, it was announc
ed by co-chairmen Elliot Gold
stein, Stanford Makovcr, Heyman
Meltz.

will open Wednesday, April 8 at
the Municipal Auditorium.
Elaborate displays will be in
stalled by many exhibitors for the
five-day show. Literally hundreds
of products for home building,
home equipment and home plan
ning and furnishing will be in
cluded.
The latest in home appliances
April 2 and decided on plans for
the dinner meeting, as well as how
to mobilize the giving in this di
vision. The chairmen and colonels
in this group are quite excited
about the success they have had in
enlisting the services of the guest
of honor for their dinner.

Sabbath Planned
In accordance with their annual
custom, the rabbis of Atlanta’s
congregations have designated
April 17 and 18 as Welfare Fund
Sabbath.

campaign schedule of work and
to start on the solicitation of their
prospects as soon as their assign
ments are accepted.

The show will be open through
Sunday, April 12.
Fred Dempsey, president of the
sponsoring Home Builders Associ
ation of Atlanta, said this will be
one of the most interesting Home
Shows yet staged.
Last year approximately 35,000
persons visited the auditorium to
witness the exhibits.
Mr. Dempsey said that many
more items, more innovations will
be on display this year because
of the advance builders’ know
how.
Mr. Dempsey explained that
there will be only a nominal
charge. The association is not try
ing to make money out of the
show, he said. The small charge is
primarily to make sure that those
who attend are actually interested.

Men’s Division. Under their lead
ership, the Colonels and Captains
in this division will assemble for
a breakfast meeting Sunday, April
12, 10 a.m. at the Progressive Club
to go over the list of prospects, re
ceive cards and get started on the
general solicitation.
