became the bride of Gilbert J.
Victor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel
S. Victor of New Orleans, on Mar.
29. The ceremony was performed
by Rabbi Solomon E. Starrels at
Temple Mickve Israel in the pres
ence of members of both families.
Following the ceremony a wed
ding breakfast was served in the
Chatham Room of the Hotel De
Soto. In addition to the groom’s
parents, out-of-town guests were
Mr. and Mrs. Harold "Victor of
New Orleans and Mr. and Mrs.
Ivan Victor of Tuscaloosa, Ala.
WEIL-COLLAT
Mr. and Mrs. Ben Weil, of Birm
ingham, Ala., announce the en
gagement of their daughter, Patsy
Rose, to Charles Adler Collat, son
of Mrs. Meyer Collat and the late
Mr. Collat of Savannah.
Miss Weil will graduate from
Sophie Newcomb College in June.
She is advertising manager of the
Jambalaya, president of the Psy-
chologa Club and a member of
Beta, Beta, Beta and Alpha Sig
ma, Sigma honorary fraternities.
Her social sorority is Alpha Ep
silon Phi.
Mr. Collat is a senior at the
University of Georgia where he is
executive officer of the Arnold Air
Society, Lieutenant Colonel of the
Air Force Reserve Officers Train
ing Corps and past president of
Phi Epsilon Pi fraternity.
The wedding will take place in
the summer.

EBAN-NIXON TALKS
WASHINGTON, (JTA) — Israel
Ambassador Abba Eban met this
week with Vice-President Richard
M. Nixon at the Senate for a dis
cussion ol American-Israel rela
tions and the situation in the Mid
dle East. The details of the con
versation were not disclosed. <
