Fusfield-Silverman
Mr. and Mrs, Lawrence Fusfield,
of Atlanta, announces the engage
ment of their daughter, Miss Ei
leen Fusfield, to Bob Silverman,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Silver-
man.
Miss Fusfield is a graduate of
Henry Grady High School, where
she was a member of the Beta
Club, cheerleading squad and the
D. O. Z. Club. She is a graduate of
Massey Business College and is
associated with the Bonds for Is
rael Organization.
Mr. Silverman is also a grad
uate of Henry Grady High School.
He was a member of J. A. O. Club.
He is attending the Atlanta Divi
sion, University of Georgia, where
he is a member of Tau Epsilon
Phi Fraternity. He is affiliated
With Zimmei man’s Men’s Cloth-
Store.
The wedding will take place
June 13.
LEVY-BENATOR
Miss Grace Levy, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Sam E. Levy of At
lanta, became the bride of Asher
Benator, son of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac
Benator, Dec. 13, at the Or Ve
Shalom Synagogue. Rabbi Joseph
Cohen officiated.
Max Benator was his brother’s
best man and groomsmen were
Morris Benator, Johnny Benator,
Sam Galanti, Joe Benator, Leo
Benator, Morris Benvenister and
Joe Tarical.
Miss Denise Levy whs maid of
honor and Mrs. Max Benator was
matron of honor. Bridesmaids
were Misses Rachiel Alhadeff and
Betty Cohen. Flower girl was
Esther Galanti.
A reception was held In the
Vestry Rooms after the ceremony.
Miss Marlene Verner kept the
bride’s book.
After a wedding trip to Florida,
the couple wiM reside at 889 Ve-

Mrs. Herman Martin Rich of
Atlanta, announces the engage
ment of her daughter, Miss Sharon
Rita Rich, to Jake Froug, son of
Mrs. Joseph Froug and the late
Mr. Froug.
Miss Rich Is a graduate of Hen
ry Grady High School and of
Massey Business College. She was
a member of the B. B. G.’s and
was sweetheart of Alpha Epsilon
Phi Fraternity. She Is associated
with Muse’s.
Mr. Froug Is a graduate of Tech
High. He is affiliated with the
Atlanta Provision Co.
The wedding will take place in
the spring.

The betrothal of Miss Sarah Is
rael of Seattle and David Franco
of Atlanta has been announced.
The bride-elect is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Israel of
Seattle, Washington. She attended
the University of Washington.
The groom-elect Is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Victor D. Franco of
Atlanta. He attended the Universi
ty of Georgia and has just been
released from the U. S. Navy, in
which he served for two years.
The wedding will take place
this spring.
YAFIF-GORDON
Senor and Senora Felix Yafif of
Mexico City announce the engage
ment of their daughter, Miss Re-
beca Yafif, to Bob Phillip Gordon,
son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Dave Gor
don of Atlanta and Buford.
The bride-elect attended school
in Mexico City and is at present
making Atlanta her home.
Mr. Gordon attended Emory
University and was graduated
from the University of Georgia,
where he received a B.S. degree in
physics. He was a member of the
Pi Mu Epsilon mathematics so
ciety, an executive member of Al
pha Epsilon Pi Fraternity, and
was elected to Sigma Pi Sigma,
honorary physics society and to
Phi Kappa Phi, honorary scho
lastic fraternity.

Saturday, Jan. 16
The Henrietta Szold Group of
Atlanta Hadassah will sponsor an
Oneg Shabbat at 2 p. m. Saturday,
Jan. 16, at the home of Mrs. E. L.
Saul, 1006 Wildwood Road, N. E.
Mrs. Louis Geffen, Oneg Shab
bat chairman, has announced the
program will feature Mrs. Edgar
M. Dunstan, language teacher at
Agnes Scott College who will re
port on her recent impressions of
Israel.
A tea will follow, supervised by
Mrs. Jack Isenberg, according to
Mrs. David Alterman, president.
Following his graduation, Mr.
Gordon attended Columbia Uni
versity, where he worked on his
master’s degree. He is associated
with Gordon Bros, in Gainesville,
where he and his bride will reside
following the wedding ceremony
in February.
