Speeding three weeks In Europe
and three weeks In Israel, the
group will visit Paris, Switzerland,
Marseille, Jerusalem, Haifa, Tel
Aviv, Genoa, Florence, Venice and
Naples. Three weeks will be spent
in travel aboard the S. S. Castel
Felice, chartered by Study Abroad,
Inc., for the student movement to
Europe; and aboard the S. S. Jeru
salem and the S. S. Negba, two
ships on tlie Israel line.
Purpose of the summer tour, as
explained by Blue Star’s directors,
is to offer young people an ex
citing, educational and adventur
ous* experience under the super
vision and direction of outstanding
educational leaders; to train young
peofple for leadership roles in the
Community and to inspire them
with a willingness to learn and to
serve; to instill in youth a feeling
for a better understanding of the
peoples of the world in which we
live; and to afford youth a first
hand opportunity to appreciate
the wonder and the glory of the
development of world civilizations.
A general meeting of the He
brew Academy Board will be held
at 8 p. m. Thursday, Feb. 4, at the
Progressive Club.
Samuel H. Rosenberg, director
of the Atlanta Bureau of Jewish
Education, will make a report on
the national day-school move
ment.
Installation of the new officers
of the Congregation Or Ve Shalom
will be held Sunday, Jan. 31, at
the Synagogue at 1362 N. High
land Avenue.
