June 13 in Norfolk.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Coplan of
Atlanta, announce the marriage of
their daughter, Eleanor Phyllis, to
Lt. Larry Ivan Bogart, son of Mr.
and Mrs. A1 Bogart, at the home
of the bride, 791 Sherwood Road,
N. £., on April 4. Rabbi Harry H.
Epstein performed the ceremony.
The couple will reside in New
Orleans, where Lt. Bogart is sta
tioned with the United States
Army.

Mr. and Mrs. Louis A. Gottlieb
of Charlotte, N, C., announce the
engagement of their daughter, Etta
Fay to Gerald Preston Sinkoe, son
of Mr. and Mrs. E. I. Sinkoe also
of Charlotte.
The wedding will take place in
October.

of Albert E. Toranto of Birming
ham.
MENASHE-MAZLIA
Miss Lucille Menashe, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Sol Menashe
of Atlanta, became the bride of
Albert David Maslia, son of Mrs.
Rachel Maslia and the late David
Maslia. April 4, at the Dinkler-
Plaza Hotel. Rabbi Joseph Cohen
performed the ceremoony.
Danny Maslia was best man for
his brother, and ushergroomsmen
included Victor Maslia, Salvador
Barrocas, Albert M. Maslia, Ken
neth Poteat and Henry Maslia.
Mrs. Kenneth Poteat of Mary
ville, Tenn., was her sisters’s mat
ron of honor Bridesmaids were
Mrs. Victor Maslia, Mrs. Raymond
Arogajti, and Mrs. Henry Maslia.
Little Amy Poteat was flower-
girl and Miss Raymond Arogetti
kept the bride’s book.
After the ceremony the bride’s
parents entertained at a recep
tion in the hotel’s Dinkier Room.
Following a Florida wedding
trip, the couple will reside at 425
Tenth St., Atlanta.

daughter ofMr. and Mrs. Samuel
Pitiick, of Marianna. Fla., become
the bride of Mendel Romm, Jr.,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Mendel Romm
of Atlanta, March 28 at the Tem
ple Emmanu-El in Dothan, Ala
bama. Rabbi Israel Gerber per
formed the ceremony.
A program of wedding music
was played by Mrs. Lee Shuger-
man, organist, and Harris Carl Co
hen, soloist,.
The groom's father was bestman.
The groomsmen included Alan
Srochi, Alvin Saul, Pat Unger,
Bennett Oxman, Jerome Mendel,
Beryl Koplin, all of Atlanta; Owen
Bresker, Columbia, S. C., Howard
Kahn, Raleigh, N. C. and Gerald
Cohen of Alma, Ga.
Miss Sylvia Raab of Marianna
was the birde’s maid of honor
Mrs. Dick Sangaree of Marianna
and Norfilk was matron of honor.
The bridemaids included Miss Jo
Anna Whitaker of Marianna, Mrs.
Kahn, Miss Robyn Srochi of At
lanta and Miss Sandra Sokol of
Birmingham. Ala
Little Miss Nancy Saul of At
lanta was flower girl. Miss Bever
ly Blumberg and Miss Roberta
Greenberg kept the bride’s book.
Following the ceremony the
bride’s parents entertained with a
reception at the Huston Hotel in
Dothan.
Upon their return from a wed
ding trip to Acapulco, Mexico,
Mr. and Mrs. Romm will live in
Atlanta where the groom is af
filiated with the Romm, Insur
ance Agency.
Mrs. Romm, a native of Mari
anna, Fla. is a graduate of Wash
ington Seminary and attended the
University of Alabama and the
University of Texas where she
was an officer of the Alpha Epsi
lon Phi Sorority.
Mr. Romm graduated from Boys
High School and from the Univer
sity of Georgia where he was
Chancellor of Tau Eupsilon Phi
Fraternity and a member of Phi
Kappa Phi and Beta Gamma. He
served with the 40th Tank Battal-
lion, Fourth InfantryDivision as a
First Lieutenant during World war
II.
