Mrs. Sam Feldman of Atlanta
announce the engagement of her
daughter. Miss Fran Feldman, to
Dave Landau, son of Mr. and Mrs.
M. Landau of Elberton and Phoe-
:..x, Ariz. Miss Feldman’s father
was the late Sam Feldman.
She is a graduate of Henry W.
Grady High School, and attended
Marsch Business College.
Mr. Landau, a graduate of El-

B.B.A. degree from the University

Mrs. Arthur Ostrin of Charleston,
W. Va., announce the engagement
of their daughter, Miss Anita Isa-
lyn Ostrin, to Frederic Solomon of
Washington, formerly of Fort Val
ley.
Miss Ostrin attended the Mason
College of Music. Charleston, W.
Va., and is a music student at the
University of Miami. She is a
member of Delta Phi Epsilon Sor
ority and a Circle Member of
Camp Louise Cascade, Md.
Mr. Solomon is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Aaron M. Solomon of
Fort Valley. Graduating from the
University of Georgia, he received
B. S. and L. L. B. degrees. He is a
member of Phi Beta Kappa and
Phi Epsilon Pi Fraternities. At
present, he is a lieutenant colonel
in the Marine Corps Reserve and
holds membership in the Wood-
mont Country Club, Washington.
He is assistant general counsel to
the Federal Reserve Board. Wash
ington.
The wedding will take place
July 3 in Washington.

Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Stein of

Stein, to Arthur J. Robbins of Co
lumbus and New York.
Miss Stein was graduated cum

I the Progressive Club. She is em-

Memorial Ser\ ices
Asks Candle Tribute
Atlantans who survived the
Nazi persecutions will sponsor a
public memorial service in honor
of those who did not at 8 p.m.
Sunday, April 25.
The Jewish League of New
Americans, which is arranging the
event for the last day of Passover
at the Beth Jacob Congregation, is
composed of former victims of
Nazi persecutions, concentration
camps and ghetto partisans.
This year, they will commemo
rate the six million Jewish victime
of Nazi presecution in Europe and
the epochal heroes of the Warsaw
GWetto Uprising.
The League officials call upon
all Jewish people in Atlanta to
light six candles that evening in
honor of the six million Jewish
martyrs.
