Harris, the Beth Jacob Sisterhood
will launch its first and largest
project of the year, the annual
“All-you-can-eat Fish Fry” on
Sunday, June 5, at Piedmont
Park.
A full course fish plate plus
beverages will be served at a

the ceremony.

Billie Beck of Bessemer, sister
of the bride, and Sara Belle Ro
senberg, sister of the bridegroom,

Following the ceremony, the
bride’s parents entertained at a
brunch. Mrs. Dean Coleman of
Atlanta kept the bride’s book. Af
ter a wedding trip to Miami,
Puerto Rico and the Virgin Isl
ands, the couple will reside at
the Howell House in Atlanta.

the Citadel in Charleston, S. C.,
and served two years in the U. S.
Army as a first lieutenant. He is

She is now teaching in Chicago.
Dr. Arkin was graduated cum
laude from the University of
Georgia and received a medical
degree from the Medical College
of Georgia. He is a member of
Tau Epsilon Phi fraternity and
Phi Delta Epsilon fraternity. Dr.
Arkin has served with the U. S.
Army in Japan. He interned at
the Minneapolis General Hospit
al, Minneapolis, Minn., and at
present is resident physician at
Hines Veterans’ Administration
Hospital, Hines, Ill.
The wedding is planned for
June 29, in Chicago.

Lewis Cenker and Irvin Friend.
Parents of eligible children for
the kindergarten, first, second and
third grades, are invited to hear
what the Academy is doing. Re-
istration is now underway and
there are still some vacancies. Mr.
Friend, the instructor, will fur
nish additional information at

ted for teaching poositions for the

present two one-act O’Henry
