To the Superior Court ol said
State and County:
The petition of MRS. VIRGINIA
WILLIS, MRS. ALMA BECK
AND MRS. EDITH THOMPSON,
whose Post Office addresses are
315 Connally Building, Atlanta,
Fulton County, Georgia,, respect
fully shows:
1.
That they desire for themselves
and assigns to be incorporated
and made a body corporate under
the name and style of
“DIANE SALES
CORPORATION”
for a period of 35 years with the
privilege of renewal as provided
by law.
2.
The object of said corporation
is pecuniary gain to itself and
to its stockholders and its prin
cipal office or place of business
shall be at 77 Hunter Street S.W.,
Atlunta, Fulton County, Georgia,
but petitioners desire the right
to establish branch offices or
places of business elsewhere upon
the vote of a majority of the
stockholders.
3.
That the particular business to
be carried on by said corporation
is the purchase and sale at whole
sale or retail of drugs, novelties,
toys, sundries jewelry, hosiery,
clothing, watches, electrical sup
plies and all other personal prop
erty of all kinds and description,
and to act as distributor or
broker for all such like products,
as well as buying, selling, own
ing and holding property of every
kind and description, whether
real, personal or mixed and in
cluding the right to borrow
money for the business of the
mortgage, retention title con
tracts, deeds, notes or other in
struments in connection there
with.
4.
The capital stock of said corp
oration shall be One Thousand
Dollars ($1,000.00) to be repre
sented by ten shares of common
stock of a par value of One
Hundred Dollars ($100.00) each,
the same to be fully paid and
non-assessablc; with a right to
increase the capital stock at any
time by a majority vote of the
then outstanding stockholders in
an amount not to exceed Twenty
Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.-
00); but the corporation shall
not begin business until at least
Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00)
capital has been paid in.
5.
Petitioners desire the right for
said corporation to sue and be
sued, to have and use a corporate
seal, and to generally have and
be granted all powers incident
to corporations of like character
under the laws of this State.
WHEREFORE, PETITIONERS
pray to be incorporated under the
name and ’style aforesaid for
the period of 35 years with the
privilege of renewal at the ex
piration of said term as provided
by law, and that it be granted
all the powers specifically set
forth in this application together
with such powers and privileges
as are granted by operation of
law to similar corporations.

To the Superior Court of Ful

The petition of Leon S. Epstein,
Allen L. Chancey, Jr., and Nor
man A Owens, all of 1630 Fulton
National Bank Building, Atlanta,
Georgia, shows to the court as
follows:
1.
Petitioners desire for them
selves and their associates, and
assigns, to obtain a charter for a
private corporation, the object is
pecuniary gain and profit. The
name of the corporation shall be
METAIJSALT CHEMICALS, INC.
2.
General nature of the business
to be transacted is that of manu
facturing, processing buying, job
bing, distribution, selling and
otherwise dealing in any and all
chemical products.
3.
The maximum number of shares
of stock shall be 100,000 shares
of the par value of $1.00 per
share, all of which shall be com
mon voting stock. Said stock may
be paid for by money, property
or services taken at a reasonable
value as may be determined by
the stock holders.
4.
The amount of capital for
which the corporation shall be
gin business shall be not less
than $200.00.
5.
The corporation shall have
existence for thirty five (35)
years with the privilege of re
newing as provided by law.
6.
The principal office of the cor
poration shall be in Fulton
County, Georgia but the corpora
tion shall have the privilege of
establishing branch offices and
places of business elsewhere both
within and without the state of
Georgia.
7.
The corporation shall have the
power to ammend its charter in
form or subtances upon the vote
of two thirds of its outstanding
common stock'.
8..
The corporation may issue such
portion of its capital stock as is
deemed advisable and may at its
option hold any of said stock
authorized but not issued in its
treasury.
9.
The corporation shall have all
the powers that may be conferred
on a corporation as fully as if
such powers were set out here
in at length without limitation
or restriction.
10.
The corporation shall have the
power to sign contracts of em
ployment with Its employees and
specify what is to be damages in
the event the corporation breaches
its contract.
Wherefore, petitioners pray
that they be granted a separate
charter under the name and style
as above set forth with all the
powers and privileges granted to
corporation under the laws of the
State of Georgia.

Henry C. Berger
Henry C. Berger of Atlanta
died Sunday, Sept. 18.
Rabbi Harry H. Epstein and
Cantor Joseph Schwartzman con
ducted the funeral Monday at the
chapel of Henry M. Blanchard &
son.
Services were also held Sept.
20 at Tampa, with Rabbi Jerome
Kestenbaum and Cantor Nathan
Grossman officiating. Burial was
in Woodlawn Cemetery at Tampa.
A native of Atlanta, Mr. Ber
ger was a veteran of World War
I and a member of Ahavath
Achim Synagogue.
He is survived by his mother;
Mrs. Rosa Berger of Atlanta;
sisters, Mrs. Mary S. Stone and
Mrs. S. J. Chaite, both of Tampa,
and brothers, Max Berger of At
lanta and A. R. Berger of Tampa.
Henry S. Moog
Henry Silver Moog, 84, of
Augusta died September 8. He
was the husband of Mrs. Rebecca
Segal Moog.
Mr. Moog, a native of Alsace-
Lorraine, had lived in Augusta 70
years.
Funeral services were held
from Elliott Sons Chapel with
Rabbi C. B. Seiger officiating. In
ternment was in Magnolia Ceme
tery.
Survivors include his wife;
four sons, Sam Moog, Atlanta;
Nathan, Joe and Willie Moog, all
of Augusta; three daughters, Miss
Frances Moog, Miss Pauline Moog
and Miss Gladys Moog, all of
Augusta; nine grandchildren and
one great-grandchild.
Harry Brooks
Jacob Frank
Jacob Frank, 76, of Atlanta died
September 6. Funeral services
were held September 7 at the
Chapel of Henry M. Blanchard &
Son. Rabbi Harry H. Epstein and
Cantor Joseph Schwartzman offic
iated. Interment was in Green
wood Cemetery.
Mr. Frank was born in Lithuania,
and came to the United States in
1905. After living in Boston for
a short period, he came to Atlanta
and had resided here for 50 years.
He was owner of the Atlanta Metal
and Battery Co.
Mr. Frank was a member of the
Ahavath Achim Congregation, a
member of the Progressive Club,
and had been a Mason and Shriner.
He also held membership in several
other civic organizations in the
city.
Surviving are his wife; a son,
Maurice Frank of Atlanta; three
privilege of renewal as provided
by law.

its stockholders and its principal
office or place of business shall
be at 315 Connally Building, At
lanta, Fulton County, Georgia,
but petitioners desire the right to
establish branch offices else
where upon the vote of a ma
jority of the stockholders.

is the purchase of real property
for the purpose of holding the
same for rental purposes, and to
maintain, improve and preserve
residential, apartment houses,
business property and real prop
erty of all kinds, for the purpose
of renting and leasing the same,
and including the right to borrow
money and secure the payment
thereof by mortgage, deed, secur
ity deed, promissory note, or oth
er instruments in connection
therewith.
4.
The capital stock of said cor
poration shall be Three Thous
and, Five Hundred ($3,500.00)
Dollars to be represented by
Thirty Five (35) shares of com
mon stock of the par value of One
Hundred ($100.00) Dollars each,
the same to be fully paid and
non-assessable; with a right to
increase the capital stock at any
time by a majority vote of the
then outstanding stockholders in
an amount not to exceed Twenty-
Five Thousand ($25,000.00) Dol
lars; but the corporation shall not

Harry Brooks, 53, of Savannah,
died September 8 while on a
business trip to Valdosta.
He had lived in Savannah most
of his life and was vice president
of the Superior Show’ Company.
He w’as a member of B.B. Jacob
Synagogue, Jewish Educational
Alliance, B’nai B’rith, Masons,
Shriners and the 210 Associates
of New York.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs.
Ann Goldman Brooks of Savan
nah; one son, Murray J. Brooks
of Savannah; one daughter, Sheila
Brooks of Savannah; his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Brooks, Sa
vannah; one brother, Mike Jacobs,
Jacksonville, Fla.; three sisters,
Mrs. Morris Horowitz of Savan
nah, Mrs. A. A. Nathan, Bruns
wick, and Mrs Max Abramson,
Dallas Texas.
The funeral was conducted
September 9 at Sipple’s Mortuary,
with burial in Bonaventure.
Rabbi A. I. Rosenberg and Cantor
Paul Gewirz officiated.
Mrs. Dora Robin
daughters, Mrs. Ben Segal of New
Orleans, Mrs. Harry Chanin and
Mrs. Abe Cohen, both of Macon;
a brother, Morris Frank of Atlanta;
a sister, Mrs. H. Levin of Johan
nesburg, South Africa; 10 grand
children, two great-grandchildren,
and several nieces and nephews.

died September 3. The funeral
was conducted September 5 at
Sipple’s Mortuary by Rabbi A.

ture Cemetery.
Mrs. Robin is survived by her
husband Harry Robin; three sons,
Valmore Mopper of Savannah;
Dr. Coleman Mopper of Detroit,
and Kaye Mopper of Washing
ton; two sisters, Mrs. Ray Felt
and Mrs. Lillie Hershenfields;
three brothers, Moe Halpem, Irv
ing Halpern and Arthur Halpem,
all of New York City; ten grand
children and several nieces and
nephews.
Mrs. C. Lowenthal
Mrs. Charlotte Lowenthal, 77,
of Atlanta died Monday, Sept. 12.
The funeral was conducted
September 15 in New*York where
she had lived before moving to
Atlanta a year ago.
Mrs. Lowenthal was bom in
Germany and came to the United
States 45 years ago. She was a
member of the Temple.
Survivors include a son, Maurice
C. Lowenthal of Atlanta; two sis
ters, Mrs. Martha Herman of
Philadelphia and Miss Nanette
Weil of Paris, France, and a
grandson, Robert Lowenthal of
Atlanta.
