6.
Petitioners desire that said Cor-
Radiating good will and as
much energy as the electricity
producing atomic reactor which
he is urging Israel to acquire,
Prof. Joseph Weil, Dean of the
University of Florida’s Engineer
ing College, has just completed
a very busy month in Israel.
The visit of this distinguished,
kindly, and em
inently practi
cal man has
been an impor
tant event for
Israel, a n d he
has left behind
him warm
hearts and
kindled imag
inations.
Like a fairy godmother, he has
been wafting the wand of his
nuclear knowledge before the
eyes of our little Cinderella State,
opening up industrial prospects
as rosy as that of any country
with unlimited sources of fuel.
Rosier, in fact,than many, for
as Prof. Weil stated on the eve
of his departure. “An atomic re
actor is not enough. You need
trained engineers to set up, main
tain and operate an atomic plant."
This is the source of his con
fidence. Prof. Weil believes that
Israel has a potential of skilled
manpower which is capable, with
training and guidance, of fulfill
ing the most exacting demands
of an atomic age.
“Brain power is Israel’s great
est asset,” he declared many
times during his visit here. “Su
perior skill, judgment and imag
ination will be more important
in future competition than fuel,
and other natural resources.”
poratlon shall have all rights,
powers, privileges and immuni
ties granted corporations under
the now existing laws of the
State of Georgia or any amend
ments thereto which may herein
after be enacted affecting similar
corporations.
7.
Said Corporation shall have a
paid in subscription of One Thous
and ($1,000.00) Dollars before
said Corporation shall begin bus
iness, same being fully paid and
non-assessable.
8.
Your petitioners herewith ex
hibit a certificate of the Secre
tary of the State of Georgia as
required by Section 22-1803,
Georgia Code Annotated, certify
ing that the name “Coronet Manu
facturing Co., Inc.” is not the
name of any other existing Cor
poration now registered in the
Office of the Secretary of the
State of Georgia.
WHEREFORE, PETITIONERS
PRAY that they be incorporated
under the name and style afore
said with all the rights, powers,
privileges, and immunities here
in set forth as are now or may
hereinafter be allowed Corpora
tions of like character under the
laws of the State of Georgia.

Judge, S. C. A- C.

With everybody of importance
in Israel vying for Prof. Weil’s
time, you wouldn’t imagine that
he would have much left over
for a simple journalist, who
doesn’t know one end of the
atom from another. But he had.
He gave me two hours, from 5
in the afternoon until 7, without
once looking at his watch. He had
been meeting people since 8 o’
clock that morning. “Without a
break,” rather ruefully said Mrs.
Weil, a white-haired grandmo
ther, but as petite and pretty as
a Dresden china figurine.
Israel not only has to change
its approach to the question of
fuel, according to Prof. Weil, but
its whole approach to production
and marketing must be overhaul
ed. The age of miracles had al
ready passed for Israel production.
Manufacturers now have to set
tle down to facing a harshly
competitive world. Prof. Weil al
ways returned to the need of
standards, of quality, of integ
rity.
“Israel means something very
special to people,” he said. “If
they find that name on an in
ferior product, the disillusion
casts a stain on everything con
nected with Israel.”
Labor is taking a very pro
gressive view towards product
ivity, he thought. In comparison
with many other countries, labor
in Israel was very enlightened.
“All it needs is a little more en
lightenment,” he added.
“I can’t help but question some
of their methods, but I can’t be
too critical because I don’t know
What brought them about. In a
few years Israel has achieved
what took America 100 years to
achieve. I can’t criticize if it
hasn’t yet reached certain goals
that took America much longer
to arrive at.”
“Don’t forget the children,” in
terposed Mrs. Weil.
“Yes,” said Prof. Weil. “The
children of Israel. We’ve seen
children in many parts of the
world. But no where have we
seen children with such radiance
and vitality. The land that can
grow that kind of children will
overcome every difficulty.”
Prof. Weil has not just left the
country with a lot of good advice
and new ideas. The major part
of his time was spent with the
Technion management in Haifa,
investigating their needs, and de
termining in what W’ay the Uni
versity of Florida can play a part
in the technological advancement
of Israel.
