Arthur Millers
Married Second
Time by Rabbi
ROXBURY, Conn., (JTA) —
Arthur Miller and Marilyn Mon
roe repeated their wedding vows
before Rabbi Robert Goldburg,
of New Haven, in the second
ceremony marking their
marriage. The playwright said,
“This is the ceremony I origin
ally planned.” Describing Rabbi
Goldburg as an old friend, he
added that first ceremony — a
civil ceremony performed by
Judge Seymour Rabinowitz at
White Plains — was decided on
“on the spur of the moment to
stop all the publicity.” The sec
ond ceremony was kept a secret,
as was the first, and announce
ment was made to the press later.
