Atlanta have returned from a
vacation trip to New York, Bos
ton, Baltimore and Saratoga
Springs. They have as their guest
Mrs. Ida Shein of New York.
Mrs. Ida Shein of New York,
entertained last Tuesday at a
mother-daughter luncheon at the
Progressive Club in honor of her
new daughter-in-law, Mrs. Mon
tego Davis, the former Margot
Gordon of Milwaukee. The out-
of-town guests present were Mrs.
Ida Ofgang and daughter, Mrs.
Sam Beyes of New York, and
Mrs. Herman Selwyn of Augusta,
sister of the groom.
Dr. and Mrs. Harvey E. Merlin
are visiting their parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Philip Turner and Mr.
and Mrs. Israel L. Merlin in At
lanta prior to leaving for San
Antonio, where Dr. Merlin will
receive his commission as Cap
tain in the U. S. Army.
Mr. and Mrs. A. D. G. Cohen
of Atlanta are vacationing for a
week in Miami. Later they will
visit in Asheville.
Mrs. Celia Kramer has return
ed to Atlanta after two month’s
stay in Santa Monica, Calif.

Miss Bette Kay D w o s k i n,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar
Dwoskin, of Atlanta, became the
bride of Lewis M. Kurtzman, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kurtz
man, on August 6, at the Pro
gressive Club. Rabbi Harry H.
Epstein performed the ceremony.
Toby Dwoskin was her sister’s
maid of honor, and Mrs. Richard
Feldman of West Palm Beach was
matron of honor. Bridesmaids in
cluded Margot Baeder, Irene
Sicro, Dorothy Sweet and Bev
erly Blass.
Samuel Grude was the groom’s
best man and Hyman Auerbach,
Jerry Fields, Arthur Merlin, Mel
vin Libman and Bernard Gillman
were groomsmen.
