Fashion Show Oct. 24
Wednesday, Oct. 24, at 8:30
p.m. at the Progressive Club, Beth
El Sisterhood’s Fashion Show,
Dessert Coffee will be held. The
affair is a membership party for
members of the Sisterhood and
guests. ,
The theme of the evening will
be “My Fair Lady.” Fashions
shown will'be furnished by Lee
Dress Shop, Cricket Shop, and
Mothers Beautiful. Narrator of
the show will be Mrs. Carolyn
Goldsmith.
Modeling the fashions will be:
Mesdames Rita Schoenberg, Shir
ley Siegel, Miriam Wallenstein,
Rosalie Steih, Leona Gartner,
Molly Firestone and Barbara
Goodman.

Temple Youth Group
Opens for Season
First meeting of the Temple
Youth Group on October 14 was
opened by a religious service led
by Barbara Jo Heyman. After
wards an outdoor dinner was
served by the Temple Sisterhood.
Officers for the coming year
chosen during the business ses
sion include, Carol Barnet, presi
dent; Eddie Stone; vice president;
Mary Ann Shapiro, rec. sec.;
Jonie Fine, cor. sec.; Dan Gold-
wasser, treas.
Committee chairmen are Janet
Cohen, social; Elizabeth Jacob
son, program; Barbara Jo Hey
man, religious; Tom Pepper, Pro
jects (Mitzvah) Emily Borough,
publicity.
The five adult advisors are
Rabbi Jacob M. Rothschild, Jacob
W. Salz, Harry Popkin, Sig Guth-
man and George Goldman.
The next meeting is scheduled
for 5:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 28.
