Willner of Buffalo, became the bride of Samuel Joshua Zusmann Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel J. Zusmann, at a candlelight cer emony recently at the Park Lane in Buffalo, N. Y. Frances Lee Willner was her sister’s only attendant. Robert J. Lipshutz was best man. Ushers were the bride’s cousin, Larry Z. Isaacson of Cincinnati, and Charles H. Held, Jr. Following the ceremony a din ner was held for the immediate families. After December 10, the couple will be at home at 2633 East Wes ley Ter., N.E., Atlanta. Louis Reisman, son of Mr. and Kass-Wenger Dr. Nanette Kass, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Kass of Ozone Park, Long Island, N. Y., became the bride of Dr. Julius Wenger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Wenger of Jamaica Estates, Long Island, on De cember 8 at the Park Avenue Synagogue in New York. Rabbi Judah Nadich performed the cer emony. The bride is a graduate of Hunter College and Harvard Med ical School. She trained at Mount Sinai Hospital where she served as resident in cardiology. Dr. Wenger attended Antioch College, Northwestern University Graduate School and Northwest ern University Medical School. He is assistant professor of Medi cine at Emory Medical School and serves as assistant chief of medi cine -at the Veterans Hospital in Atlanta. After the ceremony a reception was held in the Synagogue Ball room. Natkoff-Kaplan Mr. and Mrs. Isadore Natkoff of Atlanta announce the engage ment of their daughter, Glenda Lee Natkoff, to Alan Morton Kap lan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Murry Kaplan of Miami Beach. Miss Natkoff, a graduate of Henry Grady High School, attend ed the University of Florida where siie was a member of the Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority. She is now employed in the business office of Southern Bell Telephone Co., as a service representative. Mr. Kaplan also attended the University of Florida where he was president of Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity. He is employed by Interstate Life Insurance Co. The wedding will take place February 2 at the Progressive Club. After a wedding trip to New York, the couple will reside in Atlanta. Abeshouse-Feiler SAVANNAH — Dr. and Mrs. Benjamin S. Abeshouse of Balti more, Md., announce the engage ment of their daughter, Jane Carol, to Lt. (j.g.) Edwin Jacob Fciler, U.S.N., son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin J. Feiler of Savannah. Miss Abeshouse is a senior at the University of Michigan where she is a member of Alpha Epsilon Phi sorority and Scroll Senior Woman’s Honorary Society. She is a graduate of the Park School of Baltimore. Mr. Feiler is a graduate of the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of Phi Epsilon Pi fraternity and Beta Gamma Sigma honorary society. He is on active duty with the United States aboard the U. S, S. Wisconsin. Plans arc being made for a June wedding. SAVANNAH NEWS Dr. Azriel Eisenberg, author of classroom texts led discussions at a teacher’s institute last Sunday at the JEA, sponsored by the Bu reau of Jewish Education. Dr. Eisenberg is executive vice pres ident of the Jewish Education Committee of New York. A “Hanukah Family Service” was observed at Congregation Agudath Achim on Friday De cember 13. A Hanukah program, presented by the kindergarten pupils of the Religious School of Temple Miekve Israel, highlighted a meeting of the Temple’s sisterhood at Mordecai Sheftall Memorial. Unveiling ceremonies were held December 17 at Bonaventure Ce metery in memory of Mrs. Sallie (Joseph) Abraham. Mrs. Dan Rabhan was hostess to the December Board meeting of the B. B. Jacob Sisterhood. The B. B. Jacob Brotherhood High School and is a member of the Omega Club there. The other held their annual banquet recent ly at the J. E. A. Building. Most of the funds from the proceeds of such banquets are spent on youth work. Dr. Irving V i ct o r has been elected president of the Savannah Surgical Society to succeed Dr. Peter L. Scardino. Garson Alephs Reelect Sweetheart Louis Levin Lois Levin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Levin, was re elected Sweetheart of Frank Gar- son A. Z. A. Chapter 966 during their recently sponsored week-end for members and their guests. Lois who is 15 attends Northside girls on the court will be cheer leaders during the next year. They are Bonnie Spindel, Eleanor Danneman, Ruthy Aftergut, Lin da Clein and Barbara Taffel. During the weekend, the group attended Friday evening services at the Shearith Israel Synagogue, and open house afterwards at Lois’ home. A College Night Dance was held on Saturday at the Atlanta Jewish Community Center, on Sunday the annual banquet and dance. Later in the evening Mr. and Mrs. Isadore M.
