Southeastern Hadassah Elects
Mrs. Weiner New President
MACON—Mrs. Charles Weiner
of Atlanta has been installed as
the new president of Southeast
ern Region of Hadassah.
She took office during the
organization’s twenty-second an
nual conference held here the
latter part of February. -
Elected with her were: vice
presidents—Mrs. Louis Chanin
of Macon, Mrs. Meyer Kreisberg
of Augusta and Mrs. Edward
Reisman of Atlanta.
Also serving on the executive
board are Mrs. Leon Slotin, Sa
vannah, treasurer; Mrs. Joseph
Feldman, Atlanta, cor. sec.; Mrs.
Ted Solomon, Columbia, rec.
sec., and Mrs. Reavin Barskin,
LaGrange, Ga., parliamentarian.
Mrs. Weiner is a past presi
dent of the Tel Chai and Her-
zlia groups of the Atlanta chap
ter and for the past five years
has served the region as a vice
president. In addition to her ac

Golden Anniversary

Chattanooga Youth
Tell of Pilgrimage to
Reform Fountainhead
CHATTANOOGA—Five mem
bers of the Temple Youth Group
reported March 6 to Mizpah
Congregation on a recent pil
grimage they had made to Cin
cinnati, the spiritual center of
Reform Judaism.
The five were accompanied by
Abe Borisky, advisor.
Miss Gail Robbins, religious
chairman for the Mizpah TYG,
joined in the services, read by
Lois Wygoda, Peter Reisman
and Hal Schwartz. Mark Am
sterdam and David Teper gave
talks on various aspects of the
Cincinnati visit.

of Atlanta are leaving March 15
to attend the Variety Clubs con
vention in Las Vegas. They will
visit several other cities, includ
ing Dallas, San Antonio, Holly
wood and San Francisco. While
in Hollywood, they will be the
house guests of Crystal Scar
borough, the famous swimming
teacher who has taught many
of the movie stars’ children to
swim at the age of six weeks.
Mrs. Ben Mitchell of Atlanta
has returned from a trip to
Miami and Tampa where she
visited with her sister-in-law,
Mrs. Dora Oster.
Lloyd A. Menctelson, son of
Mr. and Mrs. M. B. Mendelson
of Atlanta, has been initiated
into Nu Chapter, TEP fraternity,
at the University of Georgia.

weeks of specialized training at
Springfield, Mass, as a member
of his company’s thirty-eighth
home office school for career
underwriters. An alumnus of
the Barnard School for Boys at
Riverdale, N. Y., Mr. Ehrlich
attended New York University
and was director of public rela
tions in the Southeast for Bran
ded University prior to joining
the Massachusetts Mutual last
year.
