Beauty Contest
The Auxiliaries of the Jewish
War Veterans Posts of St. Peters
burg and Tampa will again com
bine forces to sponsor the Tenth
Annual “Miss Bay Pines” beauty
contest on March 16 at the Bay
Pines Veterans Hospital.
The ladies of the auxiliaries
furnish entertainment and re
freshments for about 300 patients
in addition to giving them an op
portunity to vote for their choice
for “Miss Bay Pines.” The con
testants are about twenty of St.
Petersburg’s loveliest young lad
ies.
Local merchants donate many
articles as door prizes for the
veterans and gifts are also given
to the girls participating in the
contest. All members of the com
munities are welcome to attend.

Workshop sessions have been
scheduled for Sunday and Mon
day with leading State and Dis
trict officials taking part. Among
the District 5 officers attending
the confab will be President
Louis Mirman and Julius Fisher,
Executive Secretary.
