As We See It
by Herman Lerner
Beth-El. Congregation
We' talk about “Brotherhood”
and a week during February has
been set aside as “Brotherhood
Week,” but the Men’s Club of
Congregation fi’nai Israel in St.
Petersburg are doing more than
talk. On Tuesday, March 21, the
Men’s Club has scheduled a pro
gram called “Brotherhood on
Parade.” The evening’s program
will consist of a movie, entertain
ment and refreshments with all
the proceeds going to the Calvary
Baptist Church.
The purpose behind the affair
is to help the church raise funds
to rebuild their building which
was destroyed by fire last De
cember. To date this is the only
group assisting the church in this
matter. President Sam Einstein
of the Men’s Club and his com
mittee of Sam Mazear and Morris
Lerner are indeed to be com
mended fof their very fine action.

Many people have called about
the late delivery of their paper
each week, and although we don’t
mean to pass the buck, the fault
is With the post office. Action
has been started at the St. Pet
ersburg post office to try and
trace the routing of our papers.
We hope that everyone will just
bear with us while we try and
get this matter straightened out.
